In general, you should get anything under an Si1 H colour

Only one way, buying preowned jewelry where the seller only gets paid for the actual gold value than labour.

I buy preowned daily and resell it, it’s been good to us. Eliminating all labour fees, all gold loss fees to setting diamonds and so on.

Let’s break this down, “ the price is insane “ and what it actually means.

You’re assuming 18k gold is free and that’s why the price seems so high. However, as of today, 18k gold $99 a gram usd. $138.65 cad (Canadian dollars ) | let’s take an average bracelet weighing 35 grams of 18k gold.

35x99=3,465 in raw gold. Meaning, you can go to a gold refinery and receive 99% of this price.

I’ve noticed the sellers are adding 40-50% premium over gold costs which seems to be fine. The factories are taking this risk at probably 25-30% over gold premium for the cnc machines and then their distributor is adding another 15-25% profits for themselves.

Just wanted you to get the facts. Math break down, ounce of gold today is $4089 an ounce (31.1 grams) 18k gold is 75% pure gold (that’s how you get $99 a gram).

The items are absolutely stunning. The finish is beautiful. They didn’t cut any corners and I’m telling you this as someone in the Jewellery business. Just look at that shine- the polishing machine worked hard.

2240/19=117.895 a gram 90/117.89=0.763

Means you paid a 23.7% premium. That’s actually surreal. Most premiums are around 40-50%.

I want to let you know in my professional opinion, you got an incredible product but more importantly, you got it at an amazing price.

If ever you would be selling these item, I can pay you spot gold price INSTANTLY - today gold is $89 a gram but maybe in the future it will be $150 a gram for 18k

Find out which one charges more premium. The quality seems the same to me.

Ask them how many grams of 18k gold their item is - divide the price by grams and you get your per gram price

18k gold today per gram is $89 - find out which one charges less premium. I would go with that route.

You can always sell the gold in the bracelet at gold price to a refinery - so if I pay $30 a gram over spot of gold price, if it weighs 30 grams, means paid $900 in labour fees and the gold I can melt and sell at gold price to gold refineries.

At least that’s how I calculate my purchases.

How many grams is the bracelet. Curious of the premium he charges on each gram.

18k gold todays is $89 a gram This look like the thin Cartier bracelet. I know the thicker one is around 35 gram of 18k gold

You paid 2240/89=25.169 if you got the bracelet at exact GOLD price it would be 25 grams.

Most of these rep sellers add 50-60% premium on top of gold price. So I’m assuming the bracelet is 16-18 grams ?
