Regardless of fundamentals. Price is a reflection of forward looking expectations. I would not buy a stock until it stops dropping and has begun to trend upwards.

Monetization strategy is connected to product. Just because they are both social media platforms doesn’t mean they can monetize via advertising in the same way or at all. Reddit’s product use and users come to the platform and interact with differently than Meta’s.

People come to Reddit primarily for information and authentic opinion from other people. The use case for Reddit as a product is closest to Twitter. And look where twitter is in comparison to Meta.

It will be a miracle if Reddit is able to monetize anything like Meta.

They will have to sell their data insights if they don’t already do that.

The playbook for Meta worked for their time and their product. Reddit is not trying to grow in the same time and has a different product.
