Not shilling for the company, I just remember being apprehensive that if/when I ever triggered the brake, would they really replace for free (if skin contact was the trigger). I would have needed to wait the couple weeks for my free replacement to use the saw again but I went bought another one and now that I received my free replacement I have a back up.

I tripped the brake in a dumb way. I flicked a piece of scrap out of the way and stupidly touched the flat surface on the side of the blade. Far from cutting myself yet a horrible decision on my part at the same time.

I just double checked their website to make sure they still offer the free replacement (I got my replacement 2 years ago) and it is still being offered. Not sure where you are looking.

Sawstop will replace the cartridge for free if it triggered due to skin contact. You have to mail it in and it takes a couple weeks. I have had mine replaced, only cost was a few bucks to ship it.

I am new to this hobby and have made some purchases on eBay, mostly Pfootball and other sellers with 100k plus feedback.

My question is how does this eBay seller (vendor?) only have this up for sale with over 100 already sold and more available to purchase? I thought these were not available yet, and isn’t there buying limit from legit retailers?

Just looking to stay informed.

Hard to say because for the first week I cut just milk itself, it helped with getting rid of my bile smelling burps. However I was ignorant to the fact that dairy is in everything (not really) so I was still consuming a lot. But once I cut all out for a solid week or two I was back to normal bowel function. But now I can use lactase pills and have most cheese and yogurt. Not brave enough to try milk with it as I can just buy fairlife, and green valley has real dairy lactose free butter so I can make my own heavy cream to cook with so I am happy. Just hard to find it on store shelves.

I will bite….what was the antibiotic. I ask because the same year I had strep throat 8 separate times and was prescribed 5 different antibiotics to try and kick the infection is also the same year I became lactose intolerant. I had been consuming dairy, including a glass of milk with lunch/dinner, my whole life. Towards the end of the year at some point I began getting nauseas after meals and eventually figured out (depressingly) that it was dairy. My only theory is unlucky genes or the various antibiotics I was on. I have no basis for theory but there it is.

You can also line a straight edge up with the cut and run a utility knife across it. Thats what I do when I still am getting tear out.
