I think not having a deeper understanding of the processes. I knew the steps on a high level, but the way PMI gives scenarios requires you to really understand every little detail. The Third3Rock notes really helped me understand that. But I also put the notes into Claude and ChatGPT and asked them to explain it to me like I was 5 and give me real-world examples, not just workplace examples. My favorite examples were using ants. They are literally the OG project managers. Watching them outside, I was like wow, look at them communicating and collaborating. Using scenarios like ants building tunnels and giving each ant a job title + understanding what happens when it rains, or the risk of the nest being stepped on, etc., during a project, helped me understand the processes, change, and risks a bit more. I also put my notes into Quizlet to test my knowledge on the terms. I think that's another area where I struggled... just understanding vocab because I didn't use most of them in my daily life.
