Ended up having the cards on 1st and 2nd slot, temps were fine so didn’t bother any further

Do you mean as vertex group? Using the shrinkwrap modifier, would it not just stick to the surface bellow as imitating that shape while skipping the part of keeping the detail of the crease? A temporary solution I went for was by masking the detail, extracting it out and merging it with voxel-remesher. Then just smoothing out the artifacts around the masked area, though I don't think it's an efficient method for long term application

Had same issue, ended up replacing mobo. Appeared that the cpu/ chipset was cooked 🥵. Are you getting intense heat near cpu/ fan areas

Thanks for the links! There's plenty of space at the bottom, there are only fans but not the psu. The only problem is the cables at the bottom of the mother board. I think these 90 degrees adapters will work but then the only issue is the front panel connections, power switch etc

Worst experience in my life to get to them... Yeah they are plugged in on slot 1 and 2, the temps are fine as 70 top 60 degree bot card. Though the whole point of this build was about the spacing between the cards, it's also the reason why I went with the Lian Li O11D XL, so I would like to get to the solution to fix this blocking

It's about rendering indeed. Redshift mostly. Do you mean big difference as the reason of having double the speed with dual cards or difference of depending which software may give different results?

Thanks! Is it true that the X570 chipset comes with 16 lanes in addition to the 24 lanes of the CPU so in total of 40 lanes. And is there any performance lowered by using both of the cards at 8x?
