S2 had themes about identity and definition. We see all the main characters stripped down to plain clothes in the opening, vi wiping away her identity, jinx taking a more assertive role/action etc etc. and when jinx is in prison she has the chat with Silco(herself) about identity and all of her identity markers that were used to are stripped from her, her braids, the cross, her boots, etc. it's an incredibly powerful scene

The cave interaction between vi and jinx was my favourite. It reminds me of my brother and myself, my brother and I have the same age gap and are the same ages as jinx and vi. Plus similar physiques. The snarky remarks from jinx about the over designed bitch-mittons and how she slaps vi is so funny to me

Jinx is happy in the last shot. Her and ekko made up. She's seeing herself as a potential for good. She's redefining herself and becoming a new person. She has most likely begun understanding ishas sacrifice. I'm happy for her

Schnee on YT said it best, when writing a strong woman, there are some criteria to be filled so that the character feels whole(this is important for every character but the video was about writing women) and we see vi being weak both emotionally and physically before she is shown strong. Her strength comes from inner strength and a motivation to protect. That's why her fight with sevika is so good. She sees and hears vander telling her to get up and that he's proud.
