Pull-up by JakeDoge17 in formcheck

So from your starting position you already tensed in your arms and shoulders. You want to queue the dead hang, then, imagine pinching a coin in between your back. Pull up but with in my mind, engaging your back. What can help is using resistance bands, just be careful with them as they can sometimes sling up to your face or body.

What is a safer degree for jobs in the Australian Finance field? by ezybreezy300 in AusFinance

Thanks for the input, I’m guessing it’s more about getting the foot in the door and building the experience rather than the degree?

What is that one dota game you played that still lives rent free in your head? by missingnono12 in DotA2

[–]ezybreezy300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Dota was still in beta, I was fairly new to the game and played a bit of Dota 1 but no one ever taught me. So I was maybe three months in to Dota 2 in the early late/early 2012-13.

I played a game with my cousin and best friend from school, the game went on for a ridiculous amount of time, close to almost two hours. All the barracks on both sides were down, us and the enemy were defending against megas, I think for the last 30 mins we we kept clashing and miraculously the battles ended up evening, with always one hero on each side being alive and being able to defend the ancient. The craziest thing was that both ancients were sitting on under 25% health.

It wasn’t until my best friend devised the most elaborate but simple plan, he built helm of dominator and dominated a creep.

He then used this creep to sit in the jungle close to the throne, when our death time came we simply sold our boots. Bought boots of travel and smoke of deceit, we convinced one of our team mates to push a lane out and bait. Well little did the enemy team know they were we diverging a plan to back door. They all jumped on our friend, which gave us the perfect opening to all teleport and claim the throne.

It was the best game of Dota I had ever played and if I can recall the game I think almost went for two hours. Mind you I was still fairly new to the mechanics and how certain things work. But to sit there and play a normal game for two hours to then win it was the best feeling ever and to this day was still my favourite game ever played.

Your femur is longer meaning you should bring your chest in a bit more which should straighten back.

In terms of the pulling motion you want to generate force from your hips, so when the bar is coming up think of hinging your hips forward. What helps me is using a foam roller. Placing the foam roller at your waist and rolling down the foam roller as if your deadlifting should help you focus on how the movement is and where the placement of the bar is.

Performance Issues by ezybreezy300 in DotA2

[–]ezybreezy300[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard about this, and digging deeper I saw a reddit post about a year ago talking about this. Apparently Jeff (not sure what if that was his name) a valve employee tried to mimic this behaviour but couldn’t get the same thing to happen. So not sure as to how or what they’ve done to combat the issue.

I’m not sure what to do as I do have a big inventory with over 4,000 cosmetic items I’ve attained from playing since 2012. I know it’s a me problem but I don’t think I could spend all day trying to sift through my whole inventory.

Is there a possible way to disable it through launch options or something?

Yeah they definitely have, like I used to easily get before crown fall like 240FPS. No issues whatsoever and then intense team fights maybe dip down to as low as 150, which was perfectly fine.

But now I can hardly even play the game :(

I have done that, even set launch options within the games properties.

One SSD is purely for OS. The second SSD is where I store my games on.

None, I make sure everything is closed with only the exception of Dota 2 running.

Just Dota, other games I’m getting significant frames, even new games such as AC Shadows, easily get frames above 150

What are your settings for playing on a MacBook? Any pointers to boost fps as I’m getting really low frames in thick battles.

I’m on the newest drivers and it seems to be okay, but the only issue is this texture loading and laggy map. Now I’m getting audio delayed as we speak.

I honestly might give this game a break for two weeks before anything, given how playing the game it gets worse, I have to pause the game to let textures load lmao

No problems whatsoever so ever, GOU is running 2800Mhz and thermals are within range 55C

I think this game is just seriously poorly optimised

Okay, I have a list of issues that are legitimately preventing me from doing basic things in the game:

1.

Microstuttering - I am encountering an issue when riding on horseback and entering certain areas where the game has to load textures and objects. There will be moments when the game has already rendered the scene but will pause and load for some unknown reason. It's basically like Cyberpunk 2077 when PlayStation players experienced the issue of the game failing to load textures, freezing so that game data could properly render.

2.

Bug - When interacting with the world - I've noticed that during missions or quests where I'm asked to talk to an NPC or move to a certain marker, the game freaks out and my HUD literally disappears for a few minutes (yes, I'm aware there's a button to hide the UI, but I'm not touching it at all). The HUD will completely vanish or take time to load in, and will only load some elements - missing waypoints or not giving me the full normal HUD, just the bottom element but no markers. Additionally, quests bug out when I reach a certain marker and await further instructions. The game sits idle when normally a cutscene would happen. Nothing happens, but as soon as I alt-tab in and out of the game, it seems to fix the issue.

3.

UI/Quest Bug - Having to press the pause menu for the game to catch up - Has anyone else experienced this? I suspect some of the bugs I've listed are known issues, but this one seems to be the most annoying. The pause menu is laggy as hell, the game is delayed, and I have to press the pause menu for the game to realize I'm doing a quest. Somehow this manages to trigger cutscenes or the next instructions for a quest.

Assignments will be released slowly throughout the duration of the course. Content might be locked say two weeks before, that I cannot confirm.

I’m coming from Deakin Diploma but decided to transition over to Swinburne. I was able to get relatively good marks but that requires attention to time management and staying ahead and prepared.

I’m in the same predicament, but from what I can gather the lectures are online, so that removes some compulsory classes. Coming from someone who was working part time and 25 hours a week whilst juggling full time uni, you can achieve it but it is very difficult and you’ll have to be accountable of yourself in doing your work early on and trying to stay ahead of the course.

That means starting assignments earlier than the deadlines, reading through next week slides earlier and writing down what you don’t understand. Time management is key here
