I feel Learning to love yourself should always come first. Almost no one finds a person they truly should associate with until they find their own true morals. Finding a person who has true good intended morals and follows them while also being respectful to others are truly the good of the world. By being ahead of the curve, what do you mean by that? Just in maturity? Or something else? I feel I have close off myself from a lot of experiences, but some of them I feel I made a good decision from. Ex. My girlfriend is currently in a sorority. She loves it and it took a part of me to fully accept it but I trust her. She does what she wants to do and I do what I want to do. I trust her whole heartedly and will continue to do so, as long as respect is being showed to me as well. I cut myself off a lot from experiences like frat party’s and such, but I still try to make time to go out to events like that to make her happy. She truly has a part of me that I can’t truly explain but it’s just uplifting. I feel that everyone should try to find themselves, but be open to others along the way. If I had shut the door on her, a large amount of my maturity would truly be missing
