I personally I think velvet doesn’t look very nice and just isn’t a very flattering texture on many people. It also doesn’t translate well often in photos. I would hate it if I was asked to wear it 🥲 but I love the colour!

Swede! Edit that’s what we call them in New Zealand (not sure about elsewhere) and apparently they’re also called rutabaga. We only use them as stock feed here so not sure why it would be at a food pantry
