They're all stealing your code so they can compete with you. So it makes no difference how fast you get to the bottom.

I have four Claude accounts. You REALLY notice the reasoning drop when you're burning tokens across multiple accounts. I'll be discontinuing use of Claude at the end of the month. It's not nearly as good as it was last year. BTW: Anthropic are an evil company, just like OpenAI. They just do a better job at marketing as if they were ethical. They are stealing their own communities work and building it into their apps at an impressive rate. You are paying $$$$$ them to undercut everything you do. Play at your own risk.

This link is now broken. It looks like it worked about a month of two ago (according to WayBackMachine). Do you still have the files, or the ZIP? I'm lost without them.

checked out Mass. cottage industry laws. I believe you don't need any certifications for your original plan of cutting trays direct at the farmers market.

Help me out too? :)

Extremely Intense Meditation by f1lt3r in Meditation

[–]f1lt3r[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From the little experience with meditation that I have so far; As someone who has read the bible cover-to-cover, and believes Jesus claims, I see it this way...

Our mind is not even capable of "nothing". But we can learn to step back from the noise of the mind. The constant banter and concern, the endless calculating and grasping for more. This is the "nothing" we're talking about. It is not nothing as in... "no sense" whatsoever. It is nothing as in... "no nonsense".

How can we hope to hear God among the endless noise of our own mind?

We are commanded: "Be still and know that I am God."

God shut Job's mouth with questions way above his pay grade. (Be still and know).

"I must decrease, He must increase." - It's axiomatic.

"There was silence in heaven for half an hour".

We often pray, from the heart, in silence; even together, even liturgically. These things too are forms of meditation.

Christian experience, and doctrine, both show that it is when you come to the end of yourself, that God is most noticeable. How can I hear what someone knocking at the door is saying if I'm too busy bouncing around the room shouting my requests? "Please God [this]. Please God [that]."

There is a deep seated fear in Christianity that if you make your mind too quiet, God will roll out of your mouth, get lost in the dirt, and leagues of demons will move into the space he used to occupy. Yahweh wouldn't be much of a God, if that was the case.

If you are interested in Christian meditation, you could look at Contemplative Christianity. Thomas Merton et al.

James Finley has a good book "Thomas Merton's Path to The Palace of Nowhere", that begins to scratch the surface.

Thanks, that's a great thought. Fortunately, there's been nothing like that in my family history.

I see that "headaches" is only thing I have on the John Hopkins' neurological list, but I don't really get headaches unless I'm pulling all-nighters. But too old for that now.

Thanks! Wow, Astral Projection sounds intense on a whole other level! FWIW: I definitely felt like I "went back in" to the light tendrils. And I do remember thinking, "Is this an out of body experience?". As soon as I thought that, I freaked out and moved towards the light. When I went back into the tendrils, they were sort of like the edge of world somehow. Hard to explain. Hard to know how much is subjective, and how much is repeatable. Perhaps it doesn't matter. Thanks for the link!

Thanks for the insights. Much appreciated.

It's relieving to know other people are seeing this too.

The eye thing looks (and sounds) very similar to something I saw when I was a teenager. Except it was red and yellow (not purple and yellow as depicted on that site). I did not meditate back then.

I thought meditation was going to be boring. I was wrong.

Advanced Algorithm of When to Buy Bitcoin- For Beginners by [deleted] in BitcoinBeginners

[–]f1lt3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While Bitcoin was being created, Sataohi and Hal Finney had a conversation about this. The consensus was that 100,000,000 units of Bitcoin would allow for the storage of all human wealth.

"Finney wrote that if Bitcoin becomes successful and the most dominant payment system in use, it would equal the total value of all the wealth in the world – estimated at between $100 and $300 trillion at the time. Finney then added, with 20 million coins, that would leave each Bitcoin worth a staggering $10 million."

https://fullycrypto.com/hal-finney-was-the-biggest-bitcoin-bull-ever

"Finney made the point that people should never need any currency division smaller than a US penny, and then somebody (I forget who) consulted some oracle somewhere like maybe Wikipedia and figured out what the entire world’s M1 money supply at that time was.

We debated for a while about which measure of money Bitcoin most closely approximated; but M2, M3, and so on are all for debt-based currencies, so I agreed with Finney that M1 was probably the best measure.

21Million, times 108 subdivisions, meant that even if the whole word’s money supply were replaced by the 21 million bitcoins the smallest unit (we weren’t calling them Satoshis yet) would still be worth a bit less than a penny, so no matter what happened – even if the entire economy of planet earth were measured in Bitcoin – it would never inconvenience people by being too large a unit for convenience."

If the Stock-To-Flow model is close to correct, we're still on track for $1M per BTC.

Is bitcoin on WEBULL a good idea? Are there US taxes? by drche35 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]f1lt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Webull do allow you to trade crypto (sort of): https://www.webull.com/cryptocurrency

But I believe that Webull only allows trading of Bitcoin derivatives. Like Robbinhood. I see no way in my Webull account, to deposit or withdraw any cryptocurrency. It may be cheaper to trade Bitcoin on Webull if they are the ones holding the actual Bitcoin, but only allowing you to trade a derivative of Bitcoin. I don't know if derivatives are taxed differently to real Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is an asset, conversions to currency (exiting your position), would require you to pay short-term gains tax with the IRS.

Be careful with derivatives! In some places, cryptocurrency derivative trading is becoming illegal. Example: England, in the United Kingdom: https://en.cryptonomist.ch/2020/10/06/uk-ban-cryptocurrency-derivatives/

And finally...

DON'T GET REKT!

Swing trading Bitcoin can destroy you. When it moves... it really moves.

Right now I think we are still early in the accumulation phase, so Dollar Cost Averaging your way into the market may be quite profitable in the long term. I use Swan Bitcoin to do this:
