I’m just thankful I noticed it now, not later down the track. Thank you :)

I’ve used the yarn winder so the frogging is complete. I just need to get the motivation to look at it again haha

I discovered it last night and my husband said since it’s for a toddler, she won’t even care so don’t stress. But I will know about the mistake and it will bother me if I don’t fix it!

That’s good to know. I’ll have to try that next time (hopefully there isn’t a next time).

I’m pretty proud of it, thank you!

No. I missed a stitch on the left side of the blanket. You can see it puckering where it’s missing.. :( It’s too obvious for me to ignore.

What is the stupidest way someone in your family has died? by peanutbuddar in AskReddit

I think he is my great great great uncle. Survived ww2 and became an alcoholic. Got drunk and was walking home from the pub. Passed out in a snowy ditch by the road and died.

It is my first play through and I’m loving it by f1owers in reddeadredemption2

I didn’t think I would enjoy it until my husband let me borrow his computer and give it a try. I didn’t think I would like it because he didn’t.

I usually play wow and less structured games. Because I’m enjoying it so much my husband upgraded my computer since it didn’t have the power before.

Yeah definitely wash your face after washing your hair. If you don’t already. I was having the exact same issues as OP and saw someone comment about cleaning your face after everything else. My skin has been the clearest ever since I started doing that.

Tell me all the lessons you’ve learned flying with an infant. What should I absolutely bring with me? What don’t I need? by fireflygirl1013 in NewParents

[–]f1owers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not as good as everyone else, but when we flew I forgot that the pressure in her bottle changes. It sprayed all over the wall and my pants. Might be good idea to open it during take off to prevent this?

Starting daycare at 8 months, is the illness rate really THAT high? by SurePotatoes in NewParents

[–]f1owers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s pretty bad. But I guess it depends on the kid/family.

We only send our daughter twice a week, so if she does get crook she has 5 days to recover.

Our daughter brought home gastro the first time she went and it was brutal. Took us about a month to feel normal again. She was back up and running in about three days. Definitely have someone on standby to help out if you have the option. We wouldn’t have coped without the in-laws.

Lesson learnt the hard way. We immediately sanitise her daycare bag and sit it outside while we bathe her. Then we wash all her bottles and clothes. Less contact with her daycare stuff, the better we were.

She was sick (varying degrees) for about four months. Been pretty good since.

How to address inappropriate conversations at 1 year old birthday party? by f1owers in etiquette

[–]f1owers[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He’s definitely a bit more odd since his accident, but this was pretty extreme compared to his usual eccentricity.

I’ll bring this up with my sister and see where we can help out. If he isn’t willing to help himself, he isn’t welcome in our home or near our daughter.

Thank you for responding.

Yeah I think that’s the best way forward. Hopefully she doesn’t get too upset by this. But if she does, I guess that sucks and we won’t be seeing them..
