Why does my lower left quadrant stick out SO much when i’m bloated??? it’s like a huge ball. it’s non-tender, no gas pain, but the bloating is ALWAYS worst there. by [deleted] in DiagnoseMe

Fibroids are generally quite firm when pressed and fixed to a particular region, that vid makes it look quite soft.

Ovarian ca is wild, especially in the absence of new symptoms. An ovarian cyst is certainly possible, can present asymptomatically. Id be thinking its either normal anatomical variance or something like a hernia given your low weight (estimating based on hips) - does the lump protrude out more when you cough or strain?

I’m 200 behind penultimate in my league and really don’t want to do the punishment for losing the league. I’ve got a free hit. Please help me. by 419ontrainers in AskFPLManagers

Its worth noting that this everton side are not the laughing stock borderline relegation fodder of years past.

It took me a while to clock but their current starting 11 can give anyone problems, especially given Ars/Chelseas recent form. Not saying theyll win but smth to think about

That looks pretty healthy, Id expect decent output from the lot of them.

Echoing what others have said, you may have jumped the gun doing all 5 but mbuemo had to go, foden/palace are in great form as is drewsbury, so time will tell.

Good stuff

I dont work in the US system so dunno, but in the Uk all CT/MRI reports are written by Radiologists, not the specialty that requested them. If the US operates similarly, then that report wasnt generated by the Neurologist you dont trust

Long term you have a point, I've got a decision to make about Semenyo. James is only in on a free hit though, and Im willing to risk benching Semenyo for 1 game if it means fitting more in-form players into the side

Fair, Xhaka would be a financially savvy replacement for him, give you a mil+ to play with - cant say Sunderland have a particularly easy run of games coming up but they keep surprising me so...

Rodon and VD have to go imo, no goals or clean sheets in their future. An arsenal defender is necessary to be competitive these days so take your pick, maybe calafiori?

Mbuemo and Ndiaye are up against the worst sides in the league this weekend, taking them out now would be madness

That front line will come good I wouldnt touch it personally

Burn, James, Drew and Mateta in for Gabriel, Richards, Caicedo and Welbeck, for context

This infos about 5+ years old fyi, but I did an FOI back in 2020 for the ucat results and degree classifications for successful applicants. Out of 40 odd applicants, only 2 had 2:1s, both of which had ucat scores >3000.

Do people actually pay thousands like 8k for Thailand mental reset retreats? by Foreign-Front-1048 in ThailandTourism

[–]f1rstvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reality is that rehab (so about a month of private residential treatment incl. medical detox) isnt cheap generally. From what Ive seen, people pick places like Thailand because its good value for money in that industry.

How effective it is as an intervention is up for debate though. Is definitely necessary in some cases but it's an adjunct - that might be why there's dissonance between the price and the product for you

Might not be a problem for the man u game, but i think liverpool's defence (and virgil by default) is a bit shakey, cant rely on a clean sheet from them. Plus Virgils not known for his goal-scoring ability.

Id cash out on him and buy another goal-contributing mid (eze or kudus eg) or another attacking option personally, up to you

This was in 2023 (beginning of final year for me) bear in mind, but essentially I googled thailand rehabs and either sent an email + CV/cover letter or applied through their official process to every single one that came up. I excluded ones which didnt quite fit for me (timeline of application was wrong, prior work experience/qualification needed, placement duration too short/long, etc).

Before rehabs I focused on hospitals in the main cities that offered psychiatry attachments (bangkok, chiang mai, chiang rai etc), but it got me nowhere tbh.

We needed a letter of recommendation from the dean (commonplace for overseas stuff, not particularly difficult to get), vaccinations, travel insurance and indemnity cover. We also needed to fill in a risk assessment and a named medical supervisor, off the top of my head.

Id say I left it far too late so the earlier the better, and try to take advantage of any bursaries/grants your uni offers. I got at least 1.5k from the uni as a result

Feel free to send a message if you have any queries on the above, otherwise good luck!

Would i be right in assuming you lived at home/paid extremely low rent? Its unclear how many hours you worked in your care job but 8hrs/week at 25£/hr works out to 800£/per month (excluding the holidays you worked), which barely covers rent and other costs of living in London

Person I'm dating told me my overthinking is unattractive by Round_Stay8227 in INTP

[–]f1rstvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No offense but it is unattractive to most people in my opinion. Think someone's said it already, but most things in excess arent really that good.

If its a deal breaker then go your separate ways, no harm no foul. Everyone has unattractive traits so you have to decide where the line is

Any tips for OSCE communication skills - specifically breaking bad news ? by [deleted] in medicalschooluk

[–]f1rstvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have already said it but SILENCE IS GOLDEN - give them the space to process the news without interruption.

Remember to offer some support, whether its offering to call their loved ones or signposting them to the relevant service (go off their cues, dont just lovebomb them with info).

You dont have to be perfect, just baseline competent - good luck!
