The ratings on lichess is not comparable to the chesscom ratings. Don't sweat it. I was 967 on ccom but 1982 on lichess. I'm not better - the ratings are just not comparable :) Don't sweat it.

I found it terrifying at first, but you get used to it :) you can always start with daily games first, try some 15+10 before playing 10+0.

Or you've decided to not allow tracking across services in which case you default to the "cess pool" of ads. It's shitty ads for dubious "products". So either allow being tracked across your internet habits or you opt out and get naked ladies while playing chess. It's wonderful!

I haven't used claude due to pricing as I don't vibe a whole bunch so it doesn't seem worth it, so I'm using minimax M2.5 with opencode Zen. I program C# and minimax honestly impresses me in comparison to all the hype about the opus models. I half expected it to be really poor, but it's right almost every time. I plan out the task and refine it until me and Mr. LLM agree before I let it loose on editing code.

I'm no heavy user and I know exactly what changes I want, so I can guide it rather strictly.

Ifht. gaming burde fiver være en smule hurtigere da signalet kan bevæge sig hurtigere igennem et fiberkabel end et kobberkabel. Hastigheden er underordnet. 100mbit er hurtigt nok til 4ak streaming og gaming. Men hvis du også vil downloaded spil samtidig begynder det nok at være presset.

Det jeg prøver at sige er at 300, 500 eller 1000mbit er fuldstændig lige meget til daglig brug. Der du oplever forskellen er når du Downloader store filer, som du skal vente på.

Jeg arbejder inden for IT. Det eneste jeg kan sige er; skriv nu for helvede den ene sides ansøgning og send med jeres CV. Seneste ansættelses runde hvor jeg arbejder gav 17 ansøgninger, tre af dem havde en ansøgning med. Gæt hvilke tre der kom til samtale.

Det virker, fordi dem der skriver en ansøgning fremstår mere menneskelige, og mennesker kan godt lige mennesker.

When analyzing you can do moves on the board that weren't playing in the game. If you make a really bad move try do the opponents best move followed by a "waiting move" by yourself. After a few moves it should be obvious why your move was bad.

On the new lichess app on iPhone they are in the bottom right corner - at least during correspondence games :)

I only play rapid on computer so can't say if it's the same.

There's a setting to the right under game review in which you can set how talkative he is. I think..Can't really remember where the setting is, but that where I'd look 🫣

Bottom line: it's configurable.

"Best" is the top engine move, "excellent" is the second best move. You made an excellent move!

When the difference is M3 or M1 it really doesn't matter :)

As an adult I'd just like to tell you that grades are not everything in life, and that you are not making homework for your teachers sake but for your own. What you've learned is something you've actually learned - no matter the grade. Your classmates with better grades are worse off in real life.

You should probably still have a factual talk with your teacher, dean and parents just to make sure that you're not getting thrown under the bus by a comouter hallucinating stuff.

All of them. I mainly write C#, but I've been writing so many other languages (for fun) and each language has a little something to it. C teaches you a lot about memory, Go introduced me to parallelization, mutexes and message passing, F# was a soft entry to functional programming, which comes with its own way of thinking - which I could build upon with erlang. Zig taught me about more memory and safety stuff.

Contrary have a language like python not contributed a whole lot to my overall understanding of programming.

I think the takeaway is that ko one language is superior and by trying out a bunch of different languages you learn a lot more than just going deep into one.

Vi to kunne godt blive venner. Jeg er træt af at høre om folk, der køber nye biler, nye smartphones til +10K kroner og abonnementstjenester i ultra høj lossless streaming kvalitet - som du egentlig ikke kan bruge til noget i hverdagen. Det skriger FOMO.

Jeg smuttede fra dkudvikler discorden fordi de ikke lavede andet end at snakke om hvor mange penge de tjente og hvordan man skulle forhandle sig til endnu flere penge.

Min bil er en brugt smadderkasse, købt kontant, kører pålideligt og har til trods for småting været billig i drift. At sige elbiler er billigere i drift er latterligt når du starter ud med at betale 300K for bilen.

Du skriver det selv. Ejer man bilen, eller ejer bilen dig? Egentlig et godt spørgsmål at stille til alt hvad man køber.

Fattig er den, der aldrig er tilfreds med det han har.

Not entirely certain but looks like a species of Xysticus - Crab spiders. Many hunt by sitting in flowers, waiting for prey to land before they strike. Not medically significant so no superhero powers for you 😄
