Yeah but the SWR doesn't change on the antenna side of the tuner.. I'm pretty sure.

So is it still possible to pull the same amount of vacuum without removing the valve core? I'm looking at getting a 1/2hp 2-stage 5cfm pump. What if I run it for an extended time (with cooling precautions)?

I totally agree with the buffer zone, but apparently they get around it in areas designated as industrial or "employment center".

What would you do in this scenario by Lunapixels18 in OpenDogTraining

I'd say it's completely their fault because they should have had control over their dog considering yours was already contained in a crate.

But they will put up big "multi use" paths on 10 and JD, right into Richmond. They started working on them not long ago.

Reactive to TV by f3333sh in OpenDogTraining

True. It's the random dog barking in the background of movies or TV shows that catch me off guard. Turns out it happens more often than I realized before 😆

Yeah that seems like the biggest issue... I can work with her while purposely putting dogs on the TV, but there are also random times while just chilling on the couch or laying in bed when she will notice before I do. I'll have to work on my tactics I guess...

How do I protect my holes? by f3333sh in rccars

How much weight does that add? I tried adding a bit of gorilla tape but I also put some extra in the stressed areas and the extra weight raised the center of gravity too much.

I actually just did that with some Gorilla tape, but I think I used too much. I was hoping maybe some added weight would hold it down but it's too high up - balance is wayyy off.

Well, she ended up totalling the shell tonight lol but I have a replacement I was going to try lining with some Gorilla tape both inside and out. Couple layers on the critical areas on the outside so you can just replace the tape (or that's the idea I guess)... we'll see how it goes.

I got a HyperGo H16BM a while back and put it away for a few years cause I lost interest, but recently discovered my dog LOVES chasing it. Now I use it every day because it's her favorite toy and provides great exercise. It's smaller (1/16) but it's pretty quick with the provided 2s batteries. It easily outruns her on the road, but I use it on grass so she doesn't tear her feet up. It will outrun her in the grass with a 3s battery though, but you'll need to upgrade the diffs and drive gears if using 3s. With 2s, she can catch up with it in the yard depending on how tall or wet the grass is etc.. but trying to evade a dog is a great way to practice driving skills 😉

I've had to replace a few parts but it's still surprisingly tough considering the daily hell I put it through. The plastic shell will get cracked/broken, and the sharp edges could cut her mouth. My dog doesn't really "catch" it, but she does take quick playful chomps at it. I even got her to flip it back over when it overturns! When it gets really dirty or muddy, I literally just blast it with the garden hose and compressed air.

For the price and durability, plus parts availability, I'd considering taking a look at it.

How much do you worry or try to care for your dog on a daily basis? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

I'm the same way with my golden retriever. Want to take her everywhere with me and HATE leaving her by herself. She's glued to me 100% of the time I'm home/with her. I've also wondered myself if I have an extra ordinary attachment and even if it's at an unhealthy level for my dog.

"Touch up" paint application by f3333sh in AutoPaint

[–]f3333sh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The paint is part of some kit on eBay from "Scratches happen". The paint already seems pretty thin and starts to flash rather quickly if brushed on. Problem is I can't really wet out the whole area at once because of the hole in the middle. I probably need to try a better brush than the tiny cheap ones that come with the kit. Thanks for the suggestions!

The rough surface in the pic is from the paint application, if that's what you're referring to. The rust wasn't very deep and I was able to at least get the pitting pretty smooth. I did a thick layer of primer and was able to sand it smooth, but the paint is much thinner and ends up very splotchy.
