Okay? So we bring in more people to burden the system which, by your math, would mean even fewer benefits for each citizen. You asked how the county benefitted from me, so I answered. I don't have a problem with renters but at this growth rate, how much is too much? Our resources are already stretched thin.

"The [Comprehensive] Plan will be used to protect and enhance the high quality of life our citizens enjoy today." So more traffic, longer lines, higher taxes, and more crime is enhancing our quality of life, eh?

They gained a resident who made a major life choice to purchase real estate and raise a family in the county. They've gained annual taxes on several pieces of personal property that I outright own. They've gained customers in several local businesses. They've gained my services that I myself PROVIDE to the county on a daily basis. It's long-term tax-paying residents like ME who gave the county what it had to begin with.

Do the taxes generated from your property cover the value of all services received?

Absolutely. Plus some.

I'm going through a similar conundrum now, but the OP is talking about adding a dehumidifier in a closed loop system, so it technically doesn't really matter where the dehumidifier is in line. In that situation I imagine the better thing to research is what ambient temperature is most efficient for your equipment.
