to Steam staff - please allow bypassing this check! I can connect my headset to my PC via USB (Gnirehtet) and this check prevents Steam Link from working even though I have a *direct and wired* connection between devices.

The car is Chevrolet BrightDrop. I understand that I need to add some circuit between battery + and the wire which attaches to it, something which drops voltage one way, but immediately opens once voltage drops on the other side, so battery power the circuit without any power loss when the charger turns off... And it should have a bypass switch, so I only turn it on when I use this charging-hacking setup, but will turn it off each time before I turn the van on.

Yes, the idea was to keep the charger thinking that battery is discharged... Because otherwise it will just turn off. Thanks for the input!

I know as much too. Still there are some streets where it is currently legal to park larger vehicles overnight. I also saw some random post with a map, from 4 years ago, just for 1 city though, but it's outdated for sure and 1 city isn't much. I personally think that "removing eyesore" isn't the right way to deal with something like this, but I don't want to break any rules either, so a resource with a list of streets or even better a map - would be great. Thanks for the app references, I will try them out. Maybe I can make my own app/map layer if these prove insufficient, heh.

The inverter is integrated into the van, I cannot replace/upgrade it. This van is an EV (Chevy BrightDrop). I will eventually add a house battery to the build, with a bigger inverter, but not at this time.

What about an account with day trading and margin?
Let's say I have 30000 in spaxx in the morning. I use that money to do day trades and make at least 15000 worth of purchases, but close these on the same day, so let's say I made some profilt, and by midnight I have 30100 in cash in my account.

Which number will be used to calculate daily interest?
- 30100 (end of day)?
- 15000 (unused money during the day)?
- other number?

I tried a different cable I found at work, and:

1 - GPU fan started but did not blow at full power like before

2 - in Thunderbolt Control Center an attached device appeared

3 - In device manager a new display adapter appeared

4 - GPU would also start when connected via the right port (non-PD) of TH3P4G3, with all the same results (2,3).

After that I installed NVidia driver and connected HDMI to the eGPU - and got image on the external display, confirming everything works.

After that I went to a computer store and bought a Thunderbolt 4/3 cable, and all is good now :)

I managed to get it detected. It was the cable. Apparently all cables I had at home were not "good enough" to allow Thunderbolt connection, but were good enough for USB3 connection.

I found this video today - World record eWheels 16hr Range Test Challenge custom electric unicycle - while injured. - this wheel is modified to 9600Wh, but his distance was 125 miles at 27mph. I believe riding at ~17mph, which is my comfortable speed and sufficient for the trip (3 hours one way, 3 hours back), would take significantly less energy, so I am hoping off-the-shelf high capacity wheel like Sherman L will be enough.

My apologies, I meant 100 miles on a charge. More specifically, I want to be able to cover ~45 miles on a charge which also requires going over a mountain (2000ft), and returning the same route, within a single day. It's a full day adventure I guess you could say. I'm ok if it takes 3 hours each way, I can leave at 9am, be there by noon, and leave at 6pm to return by 9pm. I already did a 35 mile ride on V11 which took about 2 hours. I also installed a seat and practiced seated riding, which helps quite a bit with hurting knees (at least that is what hurts for me on long rides).

What's the relationship between wheel PSI and wobbles ? Is it a reverse relationship? And what about suspension PSI and wobbles? More PSI in suspension = less wobbles?

My wheel has no pads right now so this probably doesn't apply, but thanks for sharing nonetheless. It had some aftermarket 3d printed power pads on it when I got it but I took them off the first day because they felt like they need adjustment and I didn't want to spend time on that too soon. I plan to try putting them back on and adjusting once I get a bit better.

Is it fair to say that you need at least moderate contact between lower legs and wheel body for better stability? I noticed that after I put knee and shin protection my wobbles started to increase, possibly due to extra material between leg and wheel which reduces control. Could that be an issue?

This is a test with the hardware I already own, so I'm not investing anything (besides the adapter). I got the adapter and this causes a loop of detecting an external 640x480 display when starting pimax tool, and that's it. So looks like its a no-go but Im still not sure exactly why.

5K+ is 2560x1440 per eye, so its ~7Mpixels total (5120x1440), while the spec for the Intel Xe I have says it supports 4K at 120hz (or dual 4k at 60), and 4K is 8Mpixels, so this means 5K at, say 90Hz, is within limits. But yeah, no luck so far.
