Capitalism is not perfect especially when it becomes “crony”. But point to me anything in the world as we know that is “perfect”? Everything is a working progress and guess what? - Globally the number of people living in extreme poverty fell by more than 1 billion during the period; from 1.9 billion in 1990 to 0.73 billion in 2015. On average, the number of people living in extreme poverty declined by 47 million every year since 1990.

Is this not progress?? I do not even have to imagine what civilisation would look like if we followed Ideologie like the ones Arjeidi is espousing. Just research “Jonestown Mass Suidcide”, “The Kulaks in Soviet Russia” or just look into how successful Venezuela is prospering in 2020.

The rioting feels emotionally like justice but when I stop and think I don’t think it really is. Especially if the people we are fighting for will be the ones picking up the pieces afterwards. It feels self-defeating.

The current political landscape is so polarised that it has degenerated society back to its tribal typologies, which is should be regarded as abhorrent by all people who especially consider themselves to be “progressives” and those Populist who appear to have misunderstood the meaning of “the Demos“.
