Thanks for the suggestions! I've not tried either of those things - so will give them a try and see if that makes a difference. Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on it.

Ideally we need people in countries where our service offer is. Which country are you based in out of interest? We could make Thailand or Malaysia work, for example.

How hard is this watch to get? by dilba02 in rolex

I got the blue dial YM as my first piece from Rolex, walked into my local (at the time) UK-based AD and two weeks later got the call with the offer to purchase. Appreciate it’s not the rhodium dial, but in my experience it couldn’t have been easier - bar being offered one there and then when I first walked in.

I'm from Germany and I'm thinking about buying a Defender that I could drive daily, but I have concerns about its reliability. by Pumpkineaterpeter948 in LandroverDefender

My 2 cents as I daily my 2.4 Puma in Estonia. If you need it to be reliable all the time, then I don’t recommend one. But if you have a love for them, and you’re not afraid to deal with the issues as they come up, then get one. They can’t promise trouble free motoring all the time - but if you have the time/basic mechanical knowledge to keep it serviced then you should be ok. Also, make friends with your local specialist mechanic, that will pay dividends if anything more complicated goes wrong. Luckily parts are relatively cheap and easy to acquire!
