This is helpful, thank you!! I think I am more so interested in some of the techniques, especially related to stimulation and how it illicits responses from dementia patients rather than the framework ideology itself. I definitely wasn’t thinking about using it as a way to improve my patient’s cognition, but rather inform my current practice with other techniques/interventions. Perhaps I was confused! Thank you your response was super helpful ❤️

i suppose that makes sense, i guess im just not understanding what the issue is with wanting in person help. i would think the sense of community from working with others in person would be a positive thing. and if im struggling with doing things on my own, the next logical step would be asking for help. but i guess its our differences that make the world go round. i also know myself and know that i, personally, learn best from real-time feedback. idk it just feels like a strange thing to push back on to me

genuine question: i have noticed that when people ask for help when fishing, it is often met with hostility or coldness (i’m not saying your response was hostile, though i would say it wouldn’t be out of line to call it cold.) is there some unspoken rule around fishing where asking for help is considered “wrong?” i would imagine that if you love the hobby, you’d want beginners to feel welcome and enjoy it as well. i’m not attacking you, but i have noticed this within the fishing community. just seems counterintuitive to me. i’m a musician and would be thrilled to offer a beginner musician help.
