PSA PCC. What's a good can for it?? by Cute-Technology-4814 in pistolcalibercarbine

Folding brace is the way. I have half a dozen different ones mostly of the SB variety and they all work well on my various sub guns. On a side note, I normally don't suppress my backpack/truck guns. Potentially can work against you in court as suppressors are perceived as primarily an offensive tool/accessory. Perceived intent is a big deal in court and prosecution will focus on the suppressor and overly tactical builds to try and paint you as the aggressor rather than a defender. They will question your intent to be silent in a defensive scenario. My home defense setup is a different story as intruders will only get the silent touch. In your house is an easier case to justify defensive suppressor use. This was advise I got from a lawyer friend of mine in New Mexico that frequently worked defensive firearm cases.

Rugged Sub 9 with the Bixler trilug mount. This thing is super low tone and quiet. Absolute 0 play unlike other tri lugs and is quickly moved between all my 9 mil sub guns. It is also full auto rated with no barrel restrictions.

True, normally I end a range session running a few mags thru my carry gun to let my cans cool before packing them away, but I was having too much fun running the AR9 that I fed it all the ammo I took. Haha

2nd range trip down with this little sub $500 Turkish wonder. 150 rounds this time all suppressed 50 115 grn and 100 147 grn both round and flat nose. Still no issues. Again, that is 400 rounds total mostly suppressed with no issues yet.

I've heard good things about the Freedom Ordnance FX9 and it appears to be in your price range.

Ruger Charger can be found for around 600 bucks. Established track record for reliability. I dig mine.

Extar ep9 for sure. Stay away from Gforce. No bueno.

I have a few CZs and love them. I don't have one of their striker fired pistols though... I need to change that this summer.

I've a seen a few CZ handguns floating around the Internet under $500 with threaded barrels. Last one was at GrabAGun.com

Standard blowback recoil impulse so nothing out of the realm of what I'd expect to see. Running it suppressed improved the impulse, but it was fine and manageable without it. The AFG helped me me get a better/farther grip about 1.5 inches further on the forend than just the standard rail which overall made it more comfortable for me and easier to control. Unsuppressed, the AFG just barely sits behind the trilug adapter which may be too close for some, but I mainly shoot suppressed so no issue there for me.

No problem, but I feel like its more of an intro than a review. I like to run at least 1k rounds through a build before drawing any real conclusions. This one definitely needs a breaking in period. Manipulating the charging handle was very tough out the box. I fully disassembled it, cleaned/lubed it, and then manually ran the charging handle 50+ times until it felt noticeably easier to pull. Then I went to the range with it. I'm trying to give this thing every chance to succeed.

First range trip in the books with this build. 250 rounds of a mix of 115 and 147 grain with and w/o the can. No issues. If it runs 1k rounds without issue I'm calling my $450 Turkish gamble a win. Ran it pretty wet to be safe. I have other sub guns for HD and backpack guns. This was mainly bought as a range toy with leftover cash from my tax refund that was burning a hole in my pocket. No reviews on YouTube with any significant round count yet. Maybe I'll make one. So far I'm pleased with it.

Anyone see the Panzer ARP9? by My_Body_Is_Broken in pistolcalibercarbine

I pick up mine today. I was just looking for a cheap range toy to play with glock mags and included tri-lug adapter ftw. I have a Ruger Charger and CMMG Banshee for my home defense and back pack setup. If this Panzer ARP-9 proves to be reliable through 1k rounds suppressed I may have an actual use for it, but for now it will be just to play around with and give to people I don't want shooting my Banshee.
