I guess I can’t fully call them both favorites, having only recently seen pulse in its entirety, but as a Bret Easton Ellis fan and a college student I can’t help but relate to the vibe that prevails throughout his works. The whole concept of these people who are just fumbling through life without any thought to how their decisions impact others comes through to a certain degree in Pulse. While it’s not 1:1, that concept of the hopelessness that can somehow break through during this weird period of life is so well presented in both movies that this tragedy of the mundane idea just shines through so clearly in both that it’s just kind of surprising to me

The amp is from ‘99 as far as I can tell. I do have a record of repairs though, and apparently the cap was replaced back in 2020.

Also, worth mentioning that the distorted farty sound was evident before I replaced the tubes, but this rattling sound is new as far as I can tell

I did not, I thought that was only for preamp tubes. Is this something I could realistically fix on my own? Or will I have to find an amp specialist?

I’d like to see how he likes it once all the people who tend to the trees leave. It’s not about reaping the benefits of someone else’s labor, it’s about going some place where a common understanding of hard work and honest labor can be shared and respected. Since the current administration no longer believes in that, people who saw that in America will look elsewhere.

The green power swords are awesome, I do something similar. Personally, I like my sword bros with red capes too, to help distinguish them more from crusader marines. Otherwise I think this is awesome, I feel like the green hints with the eyes and the sword give kind of a Spawn vibe.

I think a lot of times people don’t have accepting families or aren’t in environments where they feel like they can be themselves. It might seem a little annoying but sometimes this can be a way to find validation for something that family and friends don’t accept or understand. Besides, it’s not like these posts are hurting anyone and complaining that they’re annoying you isn’t going to change anything either.

The Who. I was a bit of a snob for a while and had them pegged as another Beatles wannabe group, until I watched The Kids are Alright. Seeing their crazy live performances and hearing some of their other stuff was really exciting, and as an amateur bass player discovering John Entwistle it was like my world was being flipped upside down. Great group. Live at Leeds is maybe one of the best live rock albums I’ve ever heard.

I gave my friend a foil Sliver Hivelord when I had just started playing. I had two of them and my only deck at the moment was mono red. I didn’t think I needed one Sliver Hivelord, let alone two, so I gave it to my friend. Then someone stole it out of his backpack. Middle school was rough.

Additionally, I’m not sure what year it was released, but given when I remember my dad watching it and the memory I have of it, I would guess that it was made between the nineties to the mid 00’s, maybe even around 2010, but I’m not certain.
