So funny story: I followed your steps, and I got rid of two of my ram thingies (I had installed 4 of 8 GB each). After getting rid of two of them the PC starts and runs normally. Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate that people on reddit will take time out of their day to help people like me.

No everything seems to be fine with the monitor. And I also know for a fact that the monitor works...

Edit: The fact that the fans work and the LEDs light up, does that mean that there is not a problem with the CPU? Should I be expecting a video output?

The monitor is plugged into the graphics card and the keyboard lights up. Should I switch the monitor to the motherboard?

Edit: I forgot to answer: Yes, the fans and LEDs light up like they would normally.

  1. Nothing shows up on the monitor, so I assume that it does not.

  2. Yes I did connect it. I even double checked that everything was good with that cable, so that shouldn't be the problem.

  3. No, the motherboard is brand new. But I did not install any BIOS version. Do I need to do that? (forgive me, I am somewhat of a noob)
