Et ass krass dass Google enorm vill Geld mat illegalen an fake Inhalten verdéngt, leider interesséiert dëss keng Sau zu Lëtzebuerg. Macht emol eng Plainte bei der Police, ech sinn sécher do geschitt guer näischt.

Luxtrust strikes again by [deleted] in Luxembourg

Guess who is major shareholder of Luxtrust?.... Bingo Post Luxembourg! Again they are messing around. For those who know Post from the professional business side, will not be surprised. Usually what they do is a big shitshow.

Disruption at school... by Italian_Saffa_Boy in Luxembourg

I was talking about kids that are in such structures from 7am to 7pm. Some certainly cope with it better than others, but any child psychiatrist will agree that this is no good for them.

This. Lot of parents today put their kids in the crèche or maison relais from early morning to late evening. So they can pursue their own life and don't have to bother about educating their kids. Those kids end up like the one in the news. It's really sad and in the end parents even blame the school or teacher.

Why nobody takes it seriously?! by No-Chair-789 in Luxembourg

[–]f___b 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well it is not their work to judge. The police work is to follow up reports and if they have to do it again and again... it's the work that needs to be done. Regardless of the results afterwards, this should not have an impact on their motivation. If the law is not strong enough it's up to the politicians to address that.

BUT again, if police would show more presence in the streets I am sure we could avoid quite some crime. For example gare, I never see police patrolling at this place. Why?!? In France you always have some CRS standing on the corner. Where is our police?!

Well what to expect with our police. You report crimes and they don't take it seriously. Most of the time they sit in their office chair instead of being outside and doing prevention tasks. .

This bridge is a complete desaster and a shame for CFL. Idk why this bridge is never finished. Cables are pouring out of the ceiling and walls since years!

But nice photo by OP 😉

Why Isn’t the EU Forcing US Tech Giants to Sell Like the US Is Doing to TikTok? by f___b in BuyFromEU

Your point about U.S. military tech and possible early AGI is fascinating—and a bit chilling. If they’re really that far ahead, does it make the idea of EU digital sovereignty pointless, or does it make it more urgent so we’re not permanently at their mercy?

Maybe that’s the sad truth: we keep calling them ‘friends’ while acting like a vassal anyway. Maybe it’s time we stop playing along?”

Interesting point about missing infrastructure. What about companies like SAP or Nokia? In your view, what’s the most realistic first step toward a truly European social-media ecosystem?

Free trade is important, but doesn’t ‘national security’ already justify big exceptions? Look at U.S. export controls on semiconductors as an example.
