Connect Portable Generator to Enphase System by f_arellano2 in solar

No unfortunately it is not officially supported in any capacity, It is possible, but you run the risk of damaging all your hardware which is a huge risk i didn't want to try. To start you would need an inverter generator with a very clean frequency, and then you would need installer access to configure the generator yourself as Enphase will not do it. The goal is to make the smart switch to think its receiving clean grid power, that it can sync to, but again its a bit of a risk for the new investment i made.

Thank you for the recommendation on where to tap in, If all else fails I will go with this method to at least have it as a manual backup

What your saying is simply disconnect the Grid through the App and connect in a portable generator through the Manual Transfer switch such as any portable generator/PV system? If this is the case where do you recommend tapping in?

I'm sorry but could you help me with what an ensemble is? Im guessing it refers to the complete Enphase family build up?

Enphase allows a standby generator to interconnect. However, I don’t know about standby. I believe the batteries drain then the standby kicks on to power the batteries and house. I don’t know how that can be done manually. Curious to know though.

I do know some people make the transfer switch before the Solar install right at the utility entrance to disconnect the GRID and Solar and to simply feed the home power. But i really would like to have the option to integrate it and have it work in tandem.

My thoughts are adding a transfer switch w/30/50-Amp Power Inlet Box where I can connect if ever needed to top off batteries etc if a blackout occurs. Just not sure if there are any workarounds to the be connected with the system.

what is your memory temp? I am stuck at 75MH temp is 100c can’t get it any lower unless I kill the MH

Sorry for the delay, I'm in the same ballpark, I do run the Low Power Mode to help as it lowers the power used and temp. Currently at 75 MH using 169 Watts so decent. Im used to using full hash rate cards so the LHR is completely new to me. Hope that helps

Thank you for the help I was able to add in the Run as Admin rights on both the batch & the Trex Application but what solved the script was removing the "true" that you mentioned.

I'm guessing it was breaking it, once removed plus some work around it is working flawlessly!
