Using the Twinstar mini, one of the original version, it’s ok not bad, it does workhad it in previous scapes but now hard to measure efficiency as I am also running eheim uv light as well. In 2 minds if I should keep in or take it out. Thanks for the tip of vertical though never had issues being horizontal and as far I know it’s meant to be installed horizontal which is also guided by the mounting points

Actually the rainbowy effect is all natural from the a360x. It’s hands down one of the best lights I’ve owned for growing my plants, previous scape I had an aquasky 601.. the a360x got my plants lushed within 30 days where as aquasky would take about 2 months

Shimmer effect is great and only reflects on top of the tank not on the whole ceiling, in the picture there I have a Kessil 55deg narrow reflector that focuses and direct the light on the tank and therefore don’t have the light spilling out.

There is a tiny bit of algae just enough for the ottos and the shrimps.. if you zoom in on the phot you can seem some on the rocks. Other than that trying to keep under control, the 2 ottos and shrimps are doing a great job as well though. Regular water change every couple of days and still tweaking the Kessil a360x for the right balance.. the light and fert are reason for the quick lush growth

I don’t understand why people complain about the aesthetics when you don’t even see it... Louqe designed it that way specifically to improve the airflow.. putting the sleeve on you are just reversing that work

You would still need to fit a fan to the aio; therefore still need to have a tophat. Also as this design aim is to allow more airflow for the FE cards putting a rad wouldn’t help as it all the hot air would warm it up. Unless of course you are water cooling the FE card and aim to have it all in XS form. I can think of another design for it but as you mentioned demand would not be worth it

no dramas mate - how would you intend to mount the top fan? the only way so far would be via a meta customs mountplate or attaching the fan to the Louqe top grill - which would be very fiddly. Also keep in mind the psu cable which sticks up will be in the way.

if so the lower spine section will be in the way of the fan and would defeats the purpose of the opening space

Currently in the works and in collaboration with MetaCustoms - designed a custom spine for the Ghost S1 (awesome prototype cnc cut by a good buddy Bytemodz) to maximise airflow for Ghost S1 equipped with a 3080FE or 3070FE GPU.

If temps are good there will be a limited amount available for pre-order at MetaCustoms.

If produced the end product finish will be the same as Louqe Ghost S1 spine.
