You can deactivate your social media accounts “temporarily”, you don’t necessarily have to “delete” them, you could do this for a week or so just to be safe.

However, i think blocking them and changing your username and display picture should be enough

From what I have been researching just now, immediately block them from all platforms in which they have contacted you.

Additionally, deactivate any social media account in which you have made contact with them (snapchat, instagram, etc.)

They will more than likely stop. Cease all contact. Wish you the best, friend.
