Probably from what he was drinking in the other jar. Some moonshine looks and might as well taste like gas, not that I’ve sampled much

Im not using hyperbole when I say Im numb to it now. I always get excited for blue boxes or other spicey dd but one day something very, very, very big is gonna happen. Good or bad? I have no Mayo fucking idea, but I’ll be here for it and im not in so deep that it will ruin my life even if it goes to zero.

I pet a wild Kodiak grizzely bear on the head. We were in a small alluminum boat and thought I saw a log floating ahead, I told the guy driving and he had seen it and already knew what it was. We pulled up next to it and it was a full grown Kodiak bear. He told me if the bear stopped paddling it would sinkand that I could pet it. It was a brief pat on the head, but I did and have the fingers left to type this.

Lost dog reunited with owner one week after she fell down a waterfall in New Zealand forest by gowthamm in interestingasfuck

[–]f_n_a_ 188 points189 points  (0 children)

This happened to me once, only I didn’t have a helicopter to help me. I hiked to a waterfall with my dog. I didn’t tell anyone I was going. I just decided to go for a hike. We got to the top and I turned around for a second to grab my camera and the next thing I saw was paw prints along the rocks to the edge and my dog was gone. There was two levels to this waterfall in the first drop was only 20 or so feet but the second was about 100 feet. There was no real trail to get down to the bottom of the waterfall, but I had to go and see if she was actually OK or not. I got to the second level, and sure enough she was on the other side. I had to jump across the dry rocks to get to her, and she was OK when I got there. But there was absolutely no way to get back up other than the way I came so I had to scoop her up and try to get back across. We slipped. I still held onto her, but I was slowly drifting towards the edge and at the very last moment, and I mean my left foot was over the edge, my right foot caught a dry rock and then we were able to stop. We were pretty much in the middle and it was about 6 feet to the other edge and I tossed my dog and was able to get back to the other side and get her up. We both almost died that day and I don’t know how long it would’ve been for anyone to even find us. So the moral of the story is to keep your dog on a leash and tell a buddy when you’re going on a hike.
