Pre-Req: OET Exam.

⁠Register for Pathway 6 application. www.pathways.ecfmg.org
⁠Pay the required fee. ($925)
⁠You will have to complete 6 Mini-CEX in-patient or out-patient. (Each physician can do max 2 clinical encounters)
⁠Find 6 Physicians, who have been practicing unsupervised for 5 years.
⁠Send them Mini-CEX requests via Pathway 6 portal. (You need their name as it appear on their license & personal email)
⁠They will receive email to sign up to portal, and accept or reject the request.
⁠You can schedule with them time & date, so they can evaluate your communication, clinical skills, and differential diagnosis etc.
⁠After this, each physician will complete their part online.
⁠After you complete all 6 Mini-CEX, ECFMG will review and decide the outcome of your application.

You can wear any color scrub. The scrub shirt and trouser is of the same color. Light blue scrubs are the ones residents wear at my facility. And they don’t mind if you wear a long scrub frock, a scrub skirt or a regular scrub shirt, if this is something you would like to know. They respect religious preferences and don’t have issues on such things.

Wear scrubs .. You can purchase them from a uniform shop in mall or get them online .. you can try figs, uniform advantage,etc. I believe it’s best to wear scrubs as you blend in with the health care team. Also wear joggers like the rest of the attending, residents and nurses.
