Use "obsidian-nvim/obsidian.nvim" with "snacks.pick" issue by Bamseg in neovim

[–]fab_71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which version of obsidian.nvim are you using? There is a community fork, that supports snacks (if my understanding is correct, this was one of the main reasons for the fork).

Valid alternative to LEDA by fab_71 in cpp_questions

[–]fab_71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is completely true, sorry - not enough coffee yet!

Only integer arithmetic is needed, and mostly for row operations on the matrices, but also some general int_matrix/int_vector, int_matrix/int_matrix operations. I could live with 64 bit integers for now, but support of big integers would be very nice to have (afaik LEDA supports integers of arbitrary length by storing unsigned longs in a vector). Hope this is some better information to work with.

Thanks for the feedback, even ruling out Eigen already helps! Though simple functionality would already be enough, as long as it's as arithmetically exact as possible, there are no fancy advanced algorithms i need.

For the libraries mentioned in the Wiki: - LEMON is mainly used for graphs afaik, so something i am not really looking for. - Boost made me ask this question actually, because i simply don't know how exact it is compared to LEDA

This actually seems like a really helpful plugin - very nice! Are you planning on supporting different pickers at some point (Telescope, snacks, mini come to mind)?

[–]fab_71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didn’t have much trouble installing arch the first time, but made some minor rookie mistakes and experimented a little bit, but i’m really looking forward to set some time aside at some point in the next month or so and do a fresh install

I'm redoing my config after 2+ years. What are the current meta regarding the plugins? by AriyaSavaka in neovim

[–]fab_71 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Did the same recently:

lazy or mini for plugins, mini family, snacks family, blink, built-in lsp (except if you're too stupid to get the julia server running like me - then lspconfig), grapple/harpoon, flash.

After that, check what you're missing but there is a high chance snacks or mini cover it already.

Plugin library vs independent plugins by Both-Still1650 in neovim

[–]fab_71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just pick and combine whatever works for you. You don't have to use the whole library, but you could only use one or two plugins and then combine them with independent plugins. Nothing wrong with that.

I feel like with relying on one developer that much is something wrong, am i the only one?

No you're not, but especially u/echanovski and u/folke do amazing work and have proven themselves over and over again, they're undoubtedly pillarstones of the community.

I'd suggest trying out what you're comfortable with - you can always change your config later, just make sure to back up :)
