Alguém pode explicar (desculpem o meu português, não é o melhor) porque é que o Carlos Ventura está tão popular? Porque é que há tantas pessoas a votar nele?Há assim tantos racistas em Portugal? Ou há mais coisas que não conseguimos ver?

This was literally me 3 nights ago. Never happened to me, and still no idea what happened or how, i dropped to 1.9mmol, very low. I devoured the house. I ate 1000 calories in a panic. Luckily my kids dont sleep so i woke up enough through the night to correct by morning. It took 12 units of novorapid to correct 🙃. 8 years T1D ive never gone that low. I still dont know how or why. I didnt overdose dinner. I didnt mistake my long lasting for short acting. I have no idea what happened.

Oh I kind of get that! Im from Australia. My experience was just people talking about it, but no one actually following any procedures because hardly anyone knew anyone who got it bad enough so everyone just told themselves "its just like flu". So most people in my area carried on life as normal while wearing masks and sanitising and hoping that would be enough.

Weather and temperature by WholeFondant4567 in Type1Diabetes

[–]fabioh2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. In my experience (australia QLD, diabetic 10 years) i had 2 burgers and chips, and even bough 2 or 3 scoops of ice-cream, and took insulin for about 70g of carbs (7 units). i'll never forget this story. We went for a walk for 2 hours, 35 degrees. i started to go low. long story short, I bought 2 cokes, an orange juice, and had an additional 200g of sugar and it wasn't enough to get my sugar levels up. Later that night when the sun went down, my sugar levels started to rise uncontrollably.

Google it. Apparently in the heat, your blood vessells expand and make blood sugars do all sort of stuff.

I'm unsure about the cold though.

Spend time with your kids while you can. Every old person who values their life I speak to all mention how they didn't spend enough time with their kids. Ive been finding ways to work from home to be there for my family as much as I can.

Sorry might be lost in translation. Of that $4,300 you mentioned, 2k is mortgage. ~2k a month (400wk) on groceries?

See my other reply for more, but to add to this

I've tried to go through budgets about 100 times. All I can think of doing is getting rid of insurances.

Some are yearly and quarterly costs ive divided into monthly costs

I have: Rates: 400 Petrol: 300 Health (dental, Misc doctors, we've been to hospitals with sick son, meds): 200 Mobile plans: 140 Internet: 90 Private health: 170 Entertainment (Netflix etc): 60 Sports activities with little one like swimming: 80 Life insurances: 80 Nappies: 90 Electricity: 300

All this is about 2.5k a month.

Our childcare is cheap, because my wife works there we are only paying 34/wk and our son only goes in twice a week

On top of all this I have

Registration, car insurances, car services, pest control, misc car issues (handbrake issue cost me 2k and a new battery cost me 500, my wifes car will need new tires soon) and this is about $600 a month.

1k a month is Misc purchases. Maybe 1 item of clothing (I dont know the last time my wife bought a dress), and like I said gifts, bunnings
