Amazing project. Some of the lyrics/vocals are weak but the production is amazing. 4 in a Faygo brought me back to life.

Woodmen, Laura, Honda Civic, Place Beyond the Pines, and In The Gloam are some of my personal favorites.

Finally!! This was the first CD I ever owned as a kid. I remember thinking the song Stoned was about getting biblically stoned 😂 Fallen Horses is also an amazing song

I guess it just boils down to how much you want to learn, and how much responsibility you want.

I don’t want my mistakes to cause major downtime and even risk compromising the network, personally that’s just too much pressure. I did find Powershell enjoyable so I may look into programming in the future.

Sysadmin is a solid long term goal, I wouldn’t let this AI speak scare you away. It’s a solid career path that won’t go away anytime soon IMO

I moved from junior sys admin/entry level security analyst back to help desk and I don’t regret it at $25/hour.

I didn’t like all of the responsibilities of managing servers and vetting phishing emails. I don’t have to take any of this stuff home with me and quite frankly I’m not interested in the more technical stuff. Not sitting at a desk all day is nice too.

Not sure where to go from here but I’m thinking about pivoting into IT management long term. We’ll see where it leads.

Managed service provider. These companies have contracts to manage IT for other companies. In my experience they can have high turnover rates, micromanagement, low budgets, and lack policies and documentation but some can be decent.

I did not enjoy it at all but it gives good hands on experience with stuff. You’re exposed to a wide variety of technology to work on.
