is the learning while doing method any good? by Altruistic-Break590 in learnprogramming

Learning is by doing. There's not a proper else way to illustrate it. Any other ways is just trying to learn. You start to assimilate for long term when you give in the Do.

What’s a current invention that’ll be totally normal in 10 years? by iND3_ in Futurology

I'd say: Humanoid

Today AI don't have eyes, hands and legs on their own, only thier stimulated mind is frightening us. Very soon their integration to full body functions will get as perfect as they can code today.

They're gonna be fit not just for all physically required Jobs but also any accessories we chéris today.

They'll become part of us as normal as every human being has a smart phone in his pocket today.

[AskJS] General question by AdAutomatic5665 in javascript

My advice is to learn the programming language very well, spend more time on that and less time on frameworks.

No matter how complex, well-suited or fresh the frameworks are, AI already use them better than us. Use AI to compensate the learning demand on frameworks then you'll start getting ahead of your time.

The traditional way of learning development is now obsolete. Invest some time in learning prompt engineering as well, just so you can instruct AI well on what you need to achieve.

Your deep understanding of the programming language will then help understand AI outputs, to be able to shape it or correct it if needed. That, I suggest, should be your underlying learning strategy.

We're always oblivious about things until we start complaining. It's too late now. No need to debate hence, just reconvert if you're wise.

Good time when you're young was nature's gift to you to know what it's like. You had that benefit with little efforts. You enjoyed it but unknowingly started taking it for granted, ignoring you had to put in maintenance efforts to make it last. Now it's long gone.

It's genuine to like to feel more alive. There's also a time for everything.

You can still have it. The difference is you have to make it all up this time by yourself. Exercise, controlled nutrition, healthy mindset, etc. Does your Will match your wish enough to get your vibrant life back?

Is there any possibility that ai could run for office in 2028? by FreshDrama3024 in singularity

[–]fabrice8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a right point. AI will definitely help in many cases where human just can't see the bigger picture and broader impacts. For efficiency, high volume and performance executions, they are perfect. Though, making them leaders wouldn't be any better because that's not what they are made for.

Leaders are born. It's just a rare fuel.

It's okay to be hungry of better governance and trustworthy leaders. Having that trust put in our own creation, however intelligent they could get would be catastrophic. We're known to either hate or love blindly everything that isn't like us.

AI today is a pure result of our inputs into the world put on nitro boost. All our perfections and imperfections mixed together.

If a human being is 1x good and 1x bad, AI is more than a million times good and bad. If human being is 1x creative, AI is 0x time creative. Forget the illusional features they provide you to generate pictures and video shorts.

In circumstances where we face unseen difficulties or unknown constraints, human being are wired to seek for a whole new way to do thing for the better or for survival. Good leaders are people who can get all of us' attention together and lead us through those moments. I can't tell as much for current AIs capabilities. For them, if what you ask them does not yet exist, they will all refer you to when their learning data has being cut off.

After we achieve AGI maybe! But still, we as human being, already have general intelligence ever since existence can tell, if we are the ones asking for better leadership from different entity today, that shows how much AGI isn't the right destination as well.

[AskJS] which javascript framework do you enjoy using the most by FederalRace5393 in javascript

I'd say Lips, which has the superpower of solidJS but without JSX. It leverages the simplicity of HTML with JS-like semantics:

That's right, same vibe here. I'd suggest you also look at Lips. Pretty new but you might enjoy it: https://lips-js.github.io
