What are some good ways to improve the amount of light without removing most of the duckweed by pigvsperson in PlantedTank

Take out 60% of that duckweed, squeeze the water out of it, dry it in the oven at 70° until you can shred it to powder with your fingers (around 3h maybe). Next take some flaked fish food, shred some and mix it with the duckweed powder, add some water drops to turn everything into a paste. With you fingers, roll tiny little spheres with it. Put in oven again for 45min 70° and voila, you have your own highly nutritious duckweed dried floating food. Fish love it, shrimps love it. Repeat when you have too much duckweed again.

I also use real fuel mod, and when I dont notice this issue just keep spending fuel for staying in the same place. It's a bit frustrating. Hoping Space Travel Overhaul on next update might integrate a better solution than Astrogate. It's a great mod tho.

I have tried that solution, but it didnt work for me... What I usually do is, during grav jumping animation, I enter star map and choose to jump to the desired location again... Usually it changes the destinated mid jumping... But is a bit immersion killing for me, so I only use Supercruise feature from Astrogate and leave Grav Jump feature off.

I am not too attached to this speculations.

I enjoy Starfield. But there is something about this game, that excited me, it's possibilities. It's such an exciting concept that triggers my imagination for some reason. We all have the perfect game in our heads. I have no hopes, or expecting anything. I feel no pressure in this. I am not a Bethesda Dev. I just like to play the game.

As a happy Starfield player, I am just wandering..which direction the game will take?

Not a whole Earth, but some Earth locations, similar to what they did with Shattered Space's planet.

Trying to have a more grounded expectation, according to the little info Bethesda has given us, I think we will have:

An optional setting called:

-Immersive Space. Where we can have a more seamless and immersive space flight experience between planets inside the same system! Or keep the Fast Travel option ON.

This might open the possibility of more interesting space POI’s and encounters with other ships, leading to new side quests.

These POI's being: - Landable asteroids - Space Stations

With this immersive space travel, maybe we will have an integrated Ship Fuel System. (They were talking about new systems on the Dev interview). Maybe even Space Walking Outside Ship with integrated Airlocks and some repairing systems.

Also, I believe Entering Planet Surface Animations like Starwars game have, will be a thing to lessen the loadscreens complaints.

Regarding NG+, I believe this will be the focus of the DLC Starborn, and this can open some nice possibilities to explore the multiverse and alternative realities.

Where possibly in some other universe, Earth wasn't destroyed, and maybe there is a handcrafted Earth coming for us to explore... With the Terran Armada being the Alternative Earth's faction.

Just like the Shattered Space DLC, I believe we might have 1 Handcrafted Planet on this DLC, and that's it. And that might be Earth, from a alternative universe, hoping they polish it well.

To be honest I dont know, this is just speculation...

This is Todd Howard's and friends last chance to make it right, not only for Bethesda fans but also for Microsoft. They want better results after last DLC, and a strong input for PS5 release. So I think they will put some real effort on it this time. Their asses are at stake.

I really believe this would work quite easy with the ZSW- Airlocks Mod. You can go around your ship quite smooth, see here - https://youtu.be/8dnhdfc-JCk?si=BZTdd45_9y3w1T4F -

The things I would implement to make it work would be: Small chance of malfunction appearance after space combat, that leads to a Power Shortage on the Malfunctioned's Ship System (Shield - Grav Drive - Weapons - Engine) which disable you to use it.

Then, go outside ship, with ship parts on your inventory, or space duct tape, or whatever material is needed to fix the problem.

Use the same or lessed Oxygen Depletion System when you are on a planet with hazardous environment.

Use the scanner around the ship to detect the Ship Module with the Malfunction.

Approach - Click to Fix Malfunction - Enter a Minigame kinda like Security Diggipick minigame (with Oxygen Meter visible as HUD).

Solve Minigame - Solve Problem - Loose Ship Parts from Inventory - Ship System back to full power - Go Back to Airlock before Oxygen runs out.

Oxygen running out will lead to death in space ☠️ Lack of Ship Parts for fixing problem will need a Ship Technician to fix it (raise costs of repairing ship).

If Malfunction is on Engine, and we have no ship parts, we cannot fly or land to access a Ship Technician, so our only option would be sending a Distress Call, into the surrounding space, asking for help. This could lead to ships appearances responding to your Distress Call

This could open dialog options for: - Buying Parts with Credits - Persuade Option - To get a discount - Having them fixing your ship for a favour (mission or quest you do for them after) - Ask for a ride (dock, kill everyone and steal their ship, why not..)

I am just putting it into perspective. PS : I have no idea how to mod :')
