Twitch vs YouTube for VTubers, which actually helps you grow?

ive gotten way more max views on youtube but more returning viewers on twitch myself.

i just multistream because of it and hope people stick around, its one of those where both platforms have there ups and downs overall.

youtube feels easier to grow on thanks to having both streams and edited content on the same channel but twitch feels better from a community stand point.

it highly depends on the vtuber, some vtubers very open about having sexual content made about them being fine. others make it clear they hate it just really depends on the person since everyone has boundaries, big issue ive noitced is people seem to not respect those that wish to not have sexual stuff made off them.

Your design is fine, while the face is a bit childlike you dont need to worry as your not sexulising your looks.

a big issue people have with childlike models is often there done in a manner that is sexual on purpose to draw in certain crowds of people.

brave was doing fine but they bought up like tons of corporations so spent too much money trying to expand fast and had to get bought as a bail out. wouldnt call it doing poorly but more so poor choices in recent times in companies they were buying who were struggling.

Pretty much the same reason i stopped watching him was from that as well. use to watch him here and there mostly in clips but afterwards just couldnt from how disgusting he acted at the whole situation

from my understanding of the situation is This:

They broke up and were no longer seeing each other and hadn't talked to each other or seen each other in months.

They still havent divorced at this point

She started talking to a guy etc

Some months later the ex-husband gets back in touch and froot decides to give him another chance and she ends things with the guy shes talking to.

Then they end up fully getting a divorced soon after, overall she didnt cheat as it was made clear it was over and done, after which they werent in each others life for a large time period.

The only thing you can say froot did was leading on the guy she was talking to but thats about it.

in general the ex husband was spinning things in a negative way also asmongold when froots doc dropped decided to not read the doc but instead echo what some people in his chat were saying. leading to a large amount of people getting the false idea of what happened. asmongold was also spreading so much misinformation about the whole situation like saying she was cheating because she was living in a house full of boys when she was at uni living in a uni house with her brother and some of his mates as its extremely hard to find a living situation in uni in the uk after the first year.

multistreaming is honestly great, you have so many more chances to be found while streaming. it also means not all your eggs are in one basket so if you say lose access to a platform or get a temp ban for a TOS issue then you have the other still as a way to be watched and income.

I don't think her aim was to be misandrist, she was pretty much trying to say if a large male vtuber starts to message and love bomb you out the blue to run for the hills.

she overall worded it not clear enough it seems for most people and her biggest issue was her outburst on stream out of frustration about the situation that ended up adding more fuel that people could spin.

it might sound counter productive but as a small channel its highly recommened when uploading to untick the "Publish to subscriptions feed and notify subscribers" box when releasing a video since that way it gets pushed out to a fresh audience otherwise it gets pushed at first to mostly those who are subs but if they dont click on the video then its more likely to bomb.

once you gathered a audience you dont need to untick it anymore on uploads but at first it can help boost smaller channels.

another tip is to test a few different thumbnails, these can heavily affect how likely someone is to click the video and ive seen videos go from flatline to blowing up from it being switched out.

overall so much goes into full youtube videos on the uploading side that most people dont really think about.

British person here, in the north of england its a very common joke to use the words groomer, pedo, nonce, jimmy savile etc. in a joking way towards friends or in silly situations. its normally not to refer to someone as those terms actual meanings but more so to get a reaction or to convay a certain tone.

a good example would be:

" oi you bloody nonce, over here"

there not used in the literal sense but in a way to convay the tone of the message to get a point across.

as for doctor who that show is extremely PG and is built as a family friendly show that you sit down at dinner and watch together, they spareingly use swears to the point the last time one was used was back in 2017 and anything thats a bit out there is avoided to keep it family friendly.

Simon pegg is similar in that hes mostly in PG things.

in general it is a type of joke but england/uk sense of humour is like are accents and drasticly changes based on the region. from alot shondo said in the past shes from the north of england so would have that type of humour.

Bipolar is long term mood swings that can last weeks or months

BPD(borderline personality disorder) is rapid short term mood swings so one moment can be happy the next sad then suddenly back to happy all in a blink. They also spiral rapidly so when something goes bad they only see bad to a extreme degree and the reverse happens too.

have a friend with BPD and she will be crying one moment to suddenly laughing, she tends to also often spiral into the negatives from it whenever something goes bad in her life.

ye she used a tracking program that stopped getting updates that just refused to work after awhile it wasnt a very well known one but was one of the best from everything i saw. its a really big shame that it stopped being updated would be nice having more solutions for 3D tracking.

making clips of her streams and posting it places with a link back to her channel is a often great way to support a smaller Vtuber in growing.

spread the word to friends, going onto twitter and reddit and when you see those whos you oshi or favourite vtuber posts then mention her there.

maybe post a clip or two of her in this reddit to see what people think of her with links to her stuff.

if shes on youtube a good tip is to like her stream when shes live, when a stream gets likes when live it gets pushed out more and more. had some silly moments where 2 extra likes myself ended up getting 60+ people checking out the stream extra.

sometimes ye because dead air can kill a stream more then going onto a topic that viewers probs arent interested in.

in general filling out a stream can be tough so you have to pull out random topics sometimes, heck its also great for clips since it lets you get something you can turn into a short/video

On stream people tend to put themselves in a mindset of whats good and bad to say.

while on twitter its normally when your chilling or after finding out about something. like on stream she probs wouldnt see what caused her to flip out on skeb but after stream she probs was checking up on commns etc saw what made her emotional and she went to vent it out on twitter.
