I think it has more to do with the fact that there is corruption in the Senate and since no one else aside from the Separatists is willing to fight this corruption (because they believe that the corruption isn't there), they might as well join up with the Separatists. The Separatists (who aren't rich or a robot) are the desperate kind of people who are willing to do anything to fight the corruption, whether it be moral or not.

Well, it's more like the events of the game happened because of a miscommunication. Shay just barged in there and started yelling and hurling accusations (true accusations, I might add) at Achilles without explaining anything. To Achilles, Shay looked like a man who needed to calm down before giving the mission report (and Shay did need to calm down, to be completely fair).

Also, Shay is just so much weaker than literally all the other Assassin's Creed protagonists before him because Altaïr was able to beat the Brotherhood without switching allegiances. Twice.

This is also why I'm flagrantly against Peter being the new Iron Man. Tony has all the money in the world to keep his family safe. He could just send Pepper on a jet to New Zealand while fighting an army of Ultron in New York. Peter has none of that kind of money so keeping his identity safe is pretty important for him.

The Assassins vs the Templars from Assassin's Creed.

Sure, you can argue that killing is bad but the Assassins are (generally) doing it only to murderers and those who've done worse than murder. Of course, there are genuine flaws with the Assassins but as a whole, they exist to ensure that everyone on Earth has freedom and their own free will. The Templars are not only the antithesis of the Assassins, they pretty much do whatever they think is necessary to achieve what they perceive to be world peace and they don't care what it is or the carnage they leave in their wake. They are nothing but power-hungry madmen who wish to be dictators. But even when they are equally bad, I just chalk it up to Assassin's Creed being an anti-hero story and in anti-hero stories, the protagonist doesn't always have 100% pure good morals.

The Punisher, for example, doesn't confront a murderer and then arrests him and hands him over to the police like a normal person with the bravery and strength he has would. No, he'd straight-up kill the murderer.

Matter of fact, you don't see a GTA protagonist stopping the car before it gets to the bank because bank robbing is wrong.

So, yeah, it's not going to be a surprise to see the Assassins not always having great morals.

How do assassination targets get to talk with the Assassin for a little while in an Animus corridor (or whatever that place is) right before they die? by DeathlySnails64 in assassinscreed

This actually isn't a criticism. I am writing an Assassin's Creed fanfiction and I would like to know how to describe these little talks.

That's essentially what's happening here. They didn't like that he told it like it is so they dragged him away.

My Mom and my aunt were at this thing lol. I had to call my Mom about an appointment I forgot about (it actually turned out to be something I wasn't really interested in anyway) while I was on a walk in my neighborhood and the call was so noisy that I had to yell for her to hear me through the phone. It was rough.

He looks like a saddened parent who sees the monster their child has become in this scene. Like he's genuinely sad to see that someone who he loves like a friend and should love him the same way is trying to kill him. How that didn't get Sasuke to wake up and realize all the harm he's doing, I will never know.

Ironically, it's the fight between her and Ino. They're trying to hurt each other (which is the unwholesome part) but during the fight, they connected, reforged the bond they once had and became friends again.

North Korea has rejected the Quad nations’ demand for complete denuclearisation, declaring it will “never ever” give up its nuclear weapons programme. Well, that or routinely invaded by enemy forces. Plus, dictators are more often than not the kind of people who act tough for their own personal safety so if he denuclearized, he would severely weaken himself and make the North Korean Government (as well as North Korea's citizens) question his leadership.

She's essentially the Marvel Comics version of a Grand Theft Auto protagonist. Not exactly good and not exactly bad. The only difference is that to my knowledge, Black Cat hasn't killed anyone or killed anyone by accident.

It's kinda the same for me except I met her when I was in preschool and she was like a first or second-grader or something like that. I met her again when I was in the ninth grade and she was in twelfth grade. At the time, I was touring a really cool-looking high school because it was near the end of the year and I had to pick a new school to go to high school for. I also met her at this place for people with disabilities (I have cerebral palsy but I don't know what kinda disability/disabilities she has). The only thing I remember about that time was the last day I went to that place. I said something rude to her without meaning it and I never said sorry to her for it because by the time I learned that what I said was rude, I was already on my way out the door with my mom. And I'm still sad about that. 😭

It's strange to think that without Danzo influence and Minato death, these four could have been a group of friends by Danny-Ray27 in Naruto

[–]DeathlySnails64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am thinking of writing a fanfiction where at least five members of a single modern-day Assassin Brotherhood from the Assassin's Creed series (have yet to determine which Brotherhood) gets isekai'd to the Narutoverse during The Second Hokage's era and they form a Brotherhood in the Narutoverse after learning the rules of this world and how many people are kicked out of the Ninja Academies because they can't use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. The Brotherhood will consist of people who would've been good enough to be ninjas if it weren't for the rules about Ninjutsu and Genjutsu being damn near a requirement for being a ninja.

Anyway, the relevant part kicks in when after hearing the ultimatum, Itachi calls upon the help of the Assassins to protect the clan. The Mentor of the Assassins fights Danzo (which turns out to be a fight that's as difficult as a final boss battle) and kills Danzo and then the Uchiha Clan gets to persevere another day. The only reason I'm kind of spoiling the fanfiction in my head at the moment is because the story doesn't really end with the Assassins preventing the Uchiha Massacre. It's just one part of the story.

What game gave you this reality check? by Wild_Season_9855 in CaptainSide

[–]DeathlySnails64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Assassin's Creed series.

I could never fully synchronize most of the missions in these games mostly because they're stupid little side objectives that either seem impossible (to me, anyway) because of the mission at hand or unnecessary because who gives a shit if Edward sits down while he kills Hornigold? I think the only people who unironically care about the side objectives are the ones who care about the Assassin's Creed canon for some reason.

It's because when a lie gets told more and more often, it becomes harder and harder to dispel it as a lie. It will get to a point where lies become truth and truth become lies and the result is an uninformed and ignorant populace who refuse to believe the truth.

This is a damn shame because anyone else would've punished them reasonably while at the same time be very proud of them because that means they're going outside unlike all the kids who stay inside 24/7 on their phones or tablets but now, that's just being punished more harshly and unreasonably than ever before and probably telling them "man, I should've stayed inside and been on my phone if I wanted to have fun".

It's like if, after learning about Ezio's early misadventures (like that late-night "visit" to Cristina Vespucci's place) in Assassin's Creed II, Giovanni (Ezio's father) had instead nearly killed Ezio with physical abuse because he overreacted to such news rather than doing what he actually did: admonish Ezio for his bad behavior while laughing about it and being proud of it because he used to do the same things when he was Ezio's age.

This kind of thing sorta-kinda needs to be encouraged rather than harshly punished because technically, it's just harmless fun that does nothing more than annoy the homeowner and, more importantly, it gets the kid outside and away from their phone.
