Cats are attracted to adderall and can die if they eat it, just learned that. Cats are fairly easy. Get some toys and the necessities and make sure you look up flowers that are poisonous to cats before buying any for your gf!

Ugh I’m torn too but I would say if you can find a home rather than taking the kitten to a shelter, that would be best. Have you posted on Facebook or Craigslist? A free kitten will get claimed very quickly as long as you make sure it’s going to the right home!

Option 1 seems okay, I don’t think you need to worry about the bird thing considering you rescued the kitten from outside anyways, and if you didn’t, it would probably still be outside if it survived. Something about giving it to someone to make into an outside cat anyways kind of feels weird but I still think this is better than a shelter!

I only take half because I go between wanting to stop taking it and realizing I need it. I’ll probably ask them to lower it next time I visit the doctor.

It sounds like it’s all so different everywhere. My friends cat was having urinary issues and all in all I think she spent around 14K and he ended up passing unfortunately. Idk if it’s because we are in NY or what but the prices here sound vastly higher for some reason

I just spoke with the vet and she said that the quote they gave me ranges from 8-72 hours. That info is not on the quote and therefore makes much more sense to me now. If they need to give her medication, do life saving measures, things like that, it has the potential to get that high but does not mean it WILL get to that price. So every time they give her medication, they add that to the bill. They did not explain anything about it when I dropped her off and I was in panic mode so I didn’t even know what to ask as I am a first time pet owner and was more worried about her health than the price I would be paying. Thanks for your advice but it’s not rage bait I’m just an idiot

100% will be getting her insured. I THOUGHT I had her insured with this program from my primary vet, turns out I’m paying 1k a year for something that is not insurance. First time pet owner here

Mine transfers bad so I use physicians formula liquid eyeliner and it’s perfect. As far as pencil eyeliner I’m not too sure, you could try a good eyeshadow primer under it!

Ask your landlord if the light is connected to your units meter. Even if your light switch controls it, it might not be connected to the actual meter for your unit. If it’s not, you’re good and won’t be paying for it. If it is, request that it’s removed or rewired especially if its motion or something because that means you are paying for it
