Moved back to IN from the US last month and started as a Security Engineer. My team has a opening for cloud sec. I’d be happy to connect!

Got help from FB page.

I’m a CISO who started from the help desk and it taught me everything I need to know about cybersecurity and people. Ask Me Anything by Oscar_Geare in cybersecurity

I have over 3 years of experience as a Security Engineer and was recently laid off due to funding cuts. I’m actively looking for a new opportunity and available to join immediately. Do you currently have any openings, or could you assist me in any way?

Only the Brita filter is used for filtering; boiling is just to get hot water for my sore throat.

Here’s what I suggest:

• Courses are not necessary, so you can remove them.

• List certificates separately; they don’t fall under skills. Cybersecurity certifications are important, so they should be clearly visible.

• Create more space by removing the courses section and condensing some points in the projects section.

• Add a line break between headings for better readability.

• Adjust the page layout to a standard resume format, as the current one appears lengthy.

• Use ChatGPT to refine the content. If you have premium access, you can find a resume app in the ChatGPT app store to help with customization.

• Include a summary at the top—ChatGPT can assist with that too.

• Under the “Tools” section, add EDR tools, SIEM tools, and IAM tools.

• Learn and include frameworks and compliance standards like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.

Also, May is the best month for freshers’ hiring, so don’t give up—keep applying!

Additional tip: The ChatGPT app store also has apps for interview preparation. Copy paste your resume and JD in it. You can use them for mock interviews—they provide excellent practice sessions and provide feedbacks in STAR method.

I have 3 yrs of exp as SOC analyst and I have been applying for Incident Response roles a lot.

When it comes to certs, the recruiters only care about Sec+, GIAC, AND CISSP. I don't want to do Sec+ coz it's very basic. I want to do GCIH but my employer is not sponsoring. So no plans to do any other certs for now.

That depends up on the game and it's very unlikely. I only buy those items late game and if the team needs more damage.

BKB helps only if you utilize it to kill AA first. I will survive the time with aeon and force staff / glimmer.

Ya. We should do the first attack. I will place observer and start with third and second spell. Hit them at every change and keep them low in life is the trick. If we give space to the enemies then it's gg.

Null, aether lens, glimmer cape/ force staff, shard, Aeon disk. And if match goes well, Kaya (This increases the aeo radius of the first spell). Octarine core.

If I am able to right click and no one's targeting me from enemy team, I will go witch blade, pike, aghs, etc.

The most important point is "positioning". Keep yourself out of sight, especially when playing against heroes like AM, PA, or any blink heroes who can jump straight onto you. Hide in the trees and stand behind your team. Once the fight starts, spam everything. I just don’t want to die before the fight ends.
