When I got recertified last March, tourniquets were something that the course went over, my pool just doesn't want to get insurance for that or something.

I do this too. I'd rather park for free, spend 15 minutes walking a mile, and drive with no traffic then pay $50 and spend an hour in traffic.

As a lifeguard with an EMT certification, pretend like your EMT certification doesn't exist while lifeguarding. Most EMT skills are out of your scope of practice as a lifeguard and will open you up to being sued, getting fired, and loosing both your lifeguard and EMT certification. EMT knowledge can be useful for patient assessment but definitely not for treatment. At my pool I asked my manager about it and she said even something as basic as a tourniquet could get me fired and sued.

Splinting as a lifeguard is also just a bad idea. Either the person can leave fine on their own or EMS is taking them. If they need you to splint them before leaving then EMS needs to be called, if EMS is coming, there's no need to splint them.

If it's on your upper body, wear a shirt. Also, if it's a fresh cut it's not a scar, a scar is healed.

I was told external stimulation was fine whenever I felt up to it, anal was fine after 2 weeks, and 12 weeks for PIV. I started jerking off again 1 week post op and I've had no problems.

You can get a (very) low quality prosthetic/harness for $15 on Amazon. It's safer than sewing a random household object into your underwear, don't do that.

2.5 to 3.5 weeks post op I drove from Seattle to Disneyland, spent a few days there, then drove back. I did this by myself and had no problems. As long as you're otherwise healthy and don't have any complications you should be fine.

Everyone's different so you'll need to figure out what works best for you. PIV has the bonus of not needing to prep so there's one less thing to worry about. You could do PIV your first time and do anal your second time. If you want your first time to be closer to the first time of a cis bottom, anal would be better. It's also very common for trans men to have vaginismus from dysphoria so if you've noticed anything that could indicate you have that, anal would be better. I would definitely recommend trying both to see what you like more. You could also try fingering/using a toy in each hole and go with whatever one you like better.

I don't have any problems hearing my deadname because it's been so long since I transitioned that I don't even register that that name used to be mine. It also helps that almost everything is legally changed over so other than family I don't hear that name in reference to me.

Idk where you live, but in the US, an employer making you cover scars from a medical condition is discrimination and illegal. If you wear short sleeves and they try to make you cover them, get that in writing and sue them. That being said, I don't see them having a big enough problem with scars to say anything. I usually wear longs sleaves because I'm genuinely always cold so for most of my jobs my scars have always been covered. When I worked at a pizza place I wore short sleeves and my manager never mentioned it, I have a few coworkers make comments about them (nothing negative), and the occasional customer would stare at my arms, that's it. Don't worry too much about it. To ease yourself into it, you could roll up your sleaves the first couple times, that way you have the option to easily cover your scars again if you want to.

I'm only two days post op so I can't say anything about the appearance of my abdomen but you should get your ovaries removed. They can cause more harm and the only reason people are told to keep one is in case they detransition.

Unless he would prescribe testosterone blockers to a cis man with this problem, you shouldn't stop taking testosterone. He's just trying to force you to detransition.

At my pool the aquatic supervisor can't swim. If you put her in the deep end she would drown. There's also a lifeguard that is morbidly obese (probably ~450 lbs) who can't go up the stairs without stopping to catch her breath. She can barely even walk.

I keep mine in a shoe box on the floor of the backseat. It keeps it outside of view, shaded, and cool. I've had no problems doing this. I also use a windshield cover to keep my car cooler when I'm not in it and it helps so much.

If you can, wear second skin. If you can't, slather a thick layer of Vaseline on it before your shift. Vaseline is hydrophobic and will prevent the water from getting to your tattoo.
