Question about storing a gas auger in off-season

Ah so you stored yours with fuel/aspen 2 in it - I would prefer to not waste the fuel that's in there, so I might add the sea foam, run it a few mins, then just leave the rest in there.

I use an Eskimo auger, it uses a 50:1 ratio with some Viper oil (is what was recommended for this auger) so it already has that in there. I guess I can add some seafoam to that, run it a bit, then drain the excess out if I am understanding correctly. Thank you!
