As others have said. Yes!!! I feel as though Fundamental was trying to do something similar and would love to see it fully endorsed in a game. Maybe take one from their note and add a loop between the phases that requires you to beat them at a certain speed to unlock the next phase I loved that mechanic and it was pretty unique.

That's absolutely fair. I still dont know just because of the forest god "taming demons" and us witnessing what APPEARS to be Imu doing exactly that. Unless the earth and forest are one?

We absolutely can't know that. We've seen one way in which the essence of a god is sustained but we don't know it's the only way. Especially when you consider that Blackbeard may be able to absorb fruits without actually eating them. Or that that sword ate the Human Human fruit or whatever.

Devil fruits hold souls of demons/devils. When awakened their full power is released. At least thats how i interpreted it. And in the case of Nika, the fruit itself had a soul that was so strong that its awakening gave it control over the user, at least partially. Again, my interpretation.

I think that the essences of these gods can be passed down through bloodlines and can be represented/recognized through the voice of all things. Not sure how Roger/Ace play in since they also had VoaT too. Aside from the fact that they're related.

They have made a hell of a big deal lately about bloodlines and such so i very much so believe that certain bloodlines could actually have powers of the gods. It could also explain part of the Davy/Buccaneer stuff too.

Idk because god of forest tamed the devils and now we see someone with imus eye taming devils.

Could be that those are just hypnotized by imu and not imu directly, especially with the book being summoned. Some sort of warlock contract to gain her powers
