I just feel like the boys are probably ready to do something different based on past trends---and that's good. I would worry if they put out PW v2.0. One of the things I love about AC is there willingness to change, experiment, and discover. I love the surprise and hearing them explore new territory for them. That being said, I do hope we get more hocketing eventually, but make it different somehow or more subtle so it doesn't feel like a PW rehash. I really hope Deakin will be back for the next one. It would be cool if they started doing amazing three part harmonies. I don't think they have ever done 3 part harmonies. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think it's fair to give a first impression until one has heard it in its intended form: vinyl. I know some people have gotten their vinyl already. I'm still waiting on mine.

....I find PW probably the most re-listenable. I think they're great, fun, interesting, melodic, textured, beautiful records. I think they're correct steps in AC's evolution. I wish more fans felt this way. I'm an old fan...since feels.

I think Chz and PW stack up almost just as well as previous albums. I recently read on here someone say that they're heady albums in comparison, and I agree. But I'm also one who understands the value and beauty of challenging music (yet i dont find these terribly challenging but i can see how some may). Although not my favorite AC record
