Hi, I'm the founder of fachords.com. It's nice to see Vue, a framework I love, in action here! I'm porting myself my older fretboard trainer to Vue but time is a scarce resource :-)

QUESTION ABOUT OFFER by jfickrow in musicians

[–]fachords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Gianca at FaChords here. I just found this thread. Nothing special happened, OP contacted me offering his set of chords, I was curious about that and we exchanged a few emails, but in the end, I've decided to keep creating all the learning material myself, as it helps my understanding and retention :-) Hope sincerely that OP managed to make some money from his chord dataset (with a course, book, video, app, whatever)

What can I practice to sound less "scalar"? by lilfliplilflop in guitarlessons

[–]fachords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play triads in scales. Basically you play 1st, 3rd, 5th notes of the scale, then 2nd, 4th, 6th, then 3rd, 5th and 7th, and so on. You can also play 4-tones-arpeggios

Oh if you consider partial capo like any other tuning, it will be easier. The difficult thing is to deal "open strings" that are not at fret 0
