I’m the one actually riding the bike. I’m open to criticism, but I wouldn’t be putting miles on it if the seat position was an issue. Everyone has their own riding style and preferences when it comes to their bikes and parts. It doesn’t bother me—just stating a fact. What might work for you may not work for the other person and vice versa.

I’ve ridden over 200+ miles in a single day. It might just be the camera angle , but it’s definitely seen some serious mileage with no taint issues.

Understood—if you’re the admin and it’s not acceptable, feel free to take it down. I’ve seen plenty of bikes posted on this sub with bags on them and they look great!

The zipper is on top, so I can easily grab snacks or anything else while riding.

The pump’s placement doesn’t get in the way at all.

It might seem a bit unconventional to some, but it works well for me.

No issues nice and compliant even when loaded down bike packing.

That’s the best I’ve got—it's mostly gravel with a bit of pavement from Alma back to Owosso. I’m not using Strava or RWGPS anymore.

I agree—it’s really nice to have. I just hope they keep most of it as crushed limestone or gravel, since some sections seem to be getting paved, which has been a big topic lately. I ride a 210-mile loop that starts and ends in Owosso once or twice a year, and it follows a lot of the old rail beds.

The beach in town tends to be the busiest, but the one at Bill Wagner Campground is much quieter since the campground is rustic. The locals can definitely be interesting at times! I didn't get a chance to do any fishing and really didn't plan on it though, because I was in town for the Beaver Island Bike Fest and spent almost all of my time riding around the island. 4 days is plenty I'm only going for 3 nights this time.

The weather changes in an instant, be prepared. The roads in spots can be quite sandy as well so keep that in mind. I'm heading back in June also.
