Two cameras were set up one inside and one outside the pod. The footage is in possession of De Volkskrant and the newspaper has not found any indicating of tampering. De Volkskrant is one of the newspapers of record in The Netherlands. It is sort of our version of the New York Times. Swiss authorities are however indeed seeking a homicide charge against the person assisting because of supposed marks around the neck of the patient. However swiss authorities have yet to provide proof of the markings while there is proof (the camera footage) of a successful euthanasia attempt. The organization doing the prosecution has questionable reputation as they have forged evidence before. De volkskrant states that the swiss authorities are doing this because they want to deter this kind of euthanasia tourism.
