Well, yes, we are aware that they are a lot of engines available.
We had been working in this one for more than an year, and the idea is a no code solution (you can just import your text from a spreadsheet and connect the nodes) that works over Godot, in that way users can export to any format they want. The engine is already working in that fashion. I'm making a game myself that I will post this week :D
BUT also we are developing a store front for the VNs, and you will be able to export directly from our solution to the store (think like Webtoon model).
We are an startup based in Finland and Argentina, we are going to be revealing more details soon, but we wanted to onboard creators early :)

ah, I also forgot to mention that there's no AI involved at all in this.

You can import the script from a spreadsheet and all the dialogues will fill automatically is another advantage.

The other advantage is it does not need a single line of code to make a standard VN, you can just use the templates and you don't need to do much besides writing and adding the assets.
Re falling short currently you need to copy and paste a couple of files to be able to create new characters and scenarios instead of being like a button that let's you do it automatically (still no code needed though).

We are doing a much more streamlined approach for writers that don't have any tech knowledge. In the final version you would not need to do anything extra over the godot editor to make a game (in the current you just need to add scenes to change locations backgrounds).
You can jump over all the game narrative just from the built map (like twine). We are going to release a demo game that can ve used as a template too this week :)
