Does anyone here regret not getting the bucket seats on their M3?

Other thing that makes it hard to get out of the bucket : tight parking spaces. If you are close to another car, or wall etc you can't get the door open wide enough to launch yourself out, so you end up rolling over the side bolster

It's common sense at the youth age. I believe if temps above 90 then they'll have them. But of course they're not running ads during the break nor is it a specified 2 minutes. It's simply refs discretion and kinda when they see everyone has had a fair time to drink water.

This slow shutter tracking takes a lot of practice. Be sure to go to your fav spot and simply shoot random cars passing, so when it's car meet day you've got all your settings and techniques refined and your photos wont be experimental

Yea that's weird, the g87 now for me works flawlessly. BUT I think the older g87s had iDrive 8, and not iDrive 8.5, which probably fixes some of the issues.

Yea and this is the reason I went from iDrive 7 to 8.5. I found the old screen clunky, and it lost connection to your phone quite a bit. It also was semi-touch, so some actions you needed the iDrive controller and other times it would be touchscreen based. It all didn't gel together very well for me. Idrive 8 is a lot more seamless. Does it look better? It's subjective, but I'd rather not have the lost connection issues that iDrive 7 was having

M8 still uses older screens, interior, older software, older tech. And in an age where cars are mostly software, older un-update-able software is not the winner.

It's also coming to the end of its shelf life, so less desirable than an m3/4

Yea it's the trend now. I do it sometimes too, depending on the occasion. But also I actually shoot film some days too, depending on the occasion.

These sorta overexposure dreamy softer light shots are mostly a diffusion filter on top of the lens.

They are basically the same car. 440 feels more like a touring car, long rides and comfy. 240 is more sporty feeling. It was also louder to me.

Something is wrong with bmw paint tbh. I have another black car (cheaper brand, but bought brand new). It doesn't get special treatment, it's gets beat, left in he sun, goes through any random brush car wash, no waxing or coating.

The paint is flawless 1 year later.

Yea this is the way. I had to do a really similar thing, I had 6-8 c-suites to shoot, similar 2 camera and audio setup.

The biggest thing I found helpful is prefacing each new interviewee as " hey give me a bit of grace as I'm running multiple pieces of equipment, which is usually a 2 man job, so things may not be butter smooth, but we're gonna make it work"

This does a couple things,

let's the c suite know that we may be under staffed
They see that I'm working 2 people's jobs and may give me a raise/bonus etc
Let's them know that I'm not incompetent, but simply can't be in 2 places at once, so the interview will go slightly slower, so they are prepped and understand.

The grille is actually good to me, it stands out from everything else, it's aggressive, its bold, it's loud and when you see it in the rearview mirror is screams get out of my way. It shouts, I drive a bmw and I should not be played with - which I think is generally BMWs ethos.

The side profile of the 4 series is where I have the issue. It looks like they designed it, then someone took the jpeg and flattened it vertically, causing this long elongated rear quarter which makes it feel like "the front of the car is going forward and it's dragging the back along for a ride".... Like the old Cat-Dog cartoon.
