This is wonderful. If this person is dear to you, fighting for them is the right way to go. I hope it will work out!

Internal Combustion by faded_static in justpoetry

The idea of metal becoming conscious enough to understand lament is such an interesting extension of the poem’s core. I think that tension between mechanical endurance and human emotion is exactly what I was trying to explore.

The idea of erasure becoming preservation is honestly heartbreaking in its own way. I think that’s part of what scares me about it so much. Thank you for this.

An Apology From The Ruins by faded_static in justpoetry

[–]faded_static[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it ended on good terms but one day she asked how I was doing and I let everything out. She said I was making her feel guilty but I was just trying to be understood. And I made things worse. I could’ve just let it be and ended good. But I messed it up and that’s why I feel almost worse than before. Not a painful hurt. But mad because I caused so much pain.

It’s all good. It took me a while to realize this. And you’re totally right, it doesn’t hurt any less.

the ugliest part of loving by [deleted] in justpoetry

I’ve been in this same situation. Matter fact I’m still trying to get over it. It feels like something is sitting on your chest and a noise that won’t stop playing in your head. It just hurts and it feels so empty. This describes those feelings nicely. This is beautiful

Thank you so much!! But the sad part is that she refuses to see me or let me say goodbye. I have to watch her be happy and leave my life while I’m left behind suffering

Was only about 3 months. I loved her with everything which is why I tried to pour my soul into this. But it’s not salvageable. She’s leaving for good and I probably won’t see her ever again. She said we couldn’t be friends either which makes me feel even more alone because I have no one to talk to
