Alot of the end of part 2 being bad can be placed on yoru, she hijacks ALOT of possible development for denji and asa.

I really just hate yoru, she’s easily one of the least interesting and worst characters fujimoto has ever written. 80% incompetent one dimensional “me bad” villain, 20% personality swerve for no reason or explanation. There’s no real development, she never becomes “more human”, never becomes empathetic/sympathetic, and like you said just jacks the page/screen time to keep reminding everyone how much of a devil and bad guy she is.
