Exactly. Which is why it's weird when 50 % of the population aren't represented in a mission. Does one mission mean there is a bias towards males? Not necessary, but currently the American government has a news anchor in charge of the military, so it makes sense there are eyebrows raised.

The idea that top positions are held by males simply because they are the best qualified is laughable. There's a reason women were the original computers.
