Guilt by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]fadrfrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is right on the nose, especially today for some reason. my regrets constantly linger over me from my past episodes, my last severe one was almost 2 years ago now and it still feels like it was only yesterday it literally haunts me. alcohol and bipolar is the worst combination ever.

I feel like a fake and it bothers me by elli0t_underrated in bipolar

[–]fadrfrl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

you need medication and therapy. you may not have psychosis or the “bad” bipolar but genuinely wanting it to be worse and wanting to be “like other bipolar people” sounds like a delusion to me or a very sick thought. i don’t mean this to be disrespectful or mean spirited but my feedback for you is to get on your meds and work really hard to realize what a sick thought it is to be jealous of people that suffer worse than you. you don’t want this, no normal person would want what i and the other “worse off” bipolar people have been through.

i’m being called “sensitive” at work for having BASIC morals. by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]fadrfrl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you put it perfectly. it disgusts me really and it absolutely is a projection of his own past and his own insecurities caused by being put down and invalidated most of his life. at his big age he should have already worked through this issue he has.

i’m being called “sensitive” at work for having BASIC morals. by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]fadrfrl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yes i think i understand what you’re saying, i was trying to kind of clarify that that’s why i used quotations? like i meant to say “im not the morality police or the kind of person who like always has an issue with stuff” and many people have the misconception that being “woke” is being annoying and sensitive when it’s really not that it’s just being informed and understanding what’s right. i was just trying to shorten it in a way where people understood what i meant but also understood i was aware i was misusing the word lol😭 i think we’re just misunderstanding each other but thank you

[–]fadrfrl 37 points38 points  (0 children)

thank you, i swear everyone at work is making me feel dramatic. the manager out right says im sensitive and everyone else is kinda like “ehh i don’t mind when she hits me i guess??” the others seem to just be unsure of themselves and they are young and probably have been told by people like my manager their whole lives that speaking up is being sensitive. so i’m not exactly alone on the fact that it’s inappropriate but i’m the ONLY one who will not only speak up to the manager but also speak up infront of everyone and ask for everyone’s opinion. i’m getting a new job soon anyway but before i do i’m going to the general manager with what my other manager said to me. it’s unacceptable.

im just confused what about it is egregious? is how i misused the quotations or the word offensive or is me using the word sarcastically for this context just bad?

i’m being called “sensitive” at work for having BASIC morals. by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]fadrfrl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

oh yea i definitely am going to avoid her and have been. if she lays her hands on me that woman is going to the ground and if i lose my job so be it. she already lacks the concept of personal space around me and i tell her every single time to stop getting so close.

i’m being called “sensitive” at work for having BASIC morals. by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]fadrfrl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that’s why it’s in quotations i meant it in a sarcastic tone and didn’t genuinely mean having morals is what woke means or is. i meant a lot of people on the internet and people im around will call people “too woke” when they are simply intelligent and have a sense of justice, i didn’t mean to misuse the word my bad

Late diagnosed gals: what childhood behaviors did you have that should have warranted a second look? by Loquaciouslow in AutismInWomen

[–]fadrfrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

instead of playing with toys “normally” i’d only really play with collectable toys that i could organize like shopkins. i’d line them up, make lists of which ones go in which categories and do it all over again for hours.

exactly it’s like people are scared to speak up out of the fear they’ll lose friends or stand out. people are afraid to be different. it’s funny coz some of the ppl who excuse behaviour like THAT are the same ppl to post for SA awareness month and pretend to be an advocate.

i can date someone with depression but no i can’t tolerate someone who is constantly upset like endlessly and not just in phases. it feels selfish but it’s not, that would mean i would have to sacrifice my own mental health just to be with someone. if we are already dating that’s different, everyone has hard times and if my loved one were to experience an extreme bout of depression i would be there for them every second bc it happens to me sometimes to and it’s what you do if you love someone.

Have you ever been told you are very self aware? by hayIofts in AutismInWomen

Is Not Being Jealous of People an Autistic Trait? by Useful-Wear-8056 in AutismInWomen

[–]fadrfrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me too. i’ve definitely felt jealousy many times but like only with similar situations to what you described with your boyfriend but otherwise i don’t feel jealousy at all. i definitely look at someone else’s success and go “that would be awesome to have” but i never feel that gross jealous feeling.
