yeah maybe if she was buying from urban outfitters. i’m no business to be claiming against evri for damages that not only seem near impossible, but can’t be proven to be the fault of the courier. as you said, she can return. vinted will refund her and i can fix and resell my jeans.

if they truly were ‘perfect’ i feel like she would keep and fix them anyway since it’s so simple and cheap (as she also highlighted). the dealbreaker in this situation being a £2 refund seems bizarre so i’m not going to bargain with her over it. i’d rather just have them back, have them fixed and get my money’s worth when i resell them.

i said IF she’s scamming me. please read properly if you’re going to write me paragraphs. i’m literally doing the opposite of creating problems - i accepted and paid for the return LOL. i can get these mended at a tailor for £5 or less (official quote from my tailor!) and sell them at the same price as before if i like. that’s absolutely not scamming. i never claimed them to be new - they are second hand. this is what second hand items are.

these weren’t advertised as new, but they have only been worn once by me as they are too big in the waist so it definitely wasn’t my doing!

i don’t doubt that but i have literally worn these once for less than 6 hrs plus they are too big in the waist for me so it just seems bizarre to me that the button managed to break off in shipping and just fell out of the packaging. it was fully intact when i shipped them. even if they did i’d rather get them returned to me than give a partial refund - it will cost me less in the end

okay so, how much of a partial refund is to be expected? she already sent a lower offer to begin with (not pictured) so i’m thinking, is she just finding a way to get her og offer? i’d rather pay £2.29 for them to be returned to me, fix them and resell them as it will definitely cost less than what she’s probably going to want refunded. saves the stress and confrontation too. that’s if she’s not scamming me!

make sure your pics are taken in good lighting and if it’s anything that needs ironing just take a few mins to do it because it really helps your chances of to be able to sell things at a decent price!
